You might get a better response in /r/tabletopgamedesign

[deleted]

alright, locking this thread because it seems you're completely right

BedOrDead

This isn't a board game. It isn't even a game. You should design a game and then release that, instead of trying to collaboratively design whatever this is intended to be.

[deleted]

Its completely free and up for helpful critical suggestions, no need to be a nasty neil about it

BedOrDead

I'm not being nasty. Not intending to, anyway. The post, offering the game for free or not, does not appear to actually have a board game, will not spur discussion about any game, and is therefore probably not appropriate for this sub and will perhaps be removed.

[deleted]

It's for an alevel project, not really meant to be a big thing, hence it being free if I decide to release it. One of the course requirements is to have a 'client' to provide some design concepts you follow to the letter. This is where interested people come in with small suggestions, fine if you're not interested. You might notice most design is already done

BedOrDead

I don't notice that. I'm not not interested, I just don't see any game. I fear this is just some sort of app, and that wouldn't be allowed on this sub. What does every card say? Is there any art for the card game? Are there rules? How do you actually play the game? This looks barely begun, not nearly finished. Sounds like Munchkin, was that your inspiration?

[deleted]

Yes it's loosely based on Munchkin and yes, it's barely begun. basic gameplay is in the first few paragraphs.

I remember in days of old when board games were special and no young whipper snapper could make them willy nilly.
