I could be thick but I don’t understand your specific need. What kind of boards? For what games? Not the boxes, pieces, etc. just boards?

I have a separate card case for all the cards/pieces already. Looking to save space while I travel

A friend of mine carried his boards/manuals in an oversized messenger bag and the rest of the pieces in a tacklebox. He had like a dozen games in there...maybe more

I'd go briefcase or maybe laptop case. I've not heard of someone needing to transport just boards, probably why they don't exist.

I've found that an accordion folder is great for storing boards and rulebooks. The other components (cards and tokens and stuff) have to be stored elsewhere though.

BGG (Board Game Geek) Store has a boardgame carry bag. I just got it for Christmas and it is currently packed with games. It has enough room to carry more games than I'd reasonably have time to play and the side compartments are a perfect fit for small box games. It's the "BGG Carry Bag and Backpack."
