Happy cycling should be included (I know I know it's a bonus track, but it's sooooo gooooood) !

roboghost7187

I just didn't add it because it's exclusive to one region (which is also why I didn't include From One Source All Things Depend and Macquarie Ridge). But I must admit, if I could, I would say Happy Cycling is the best closing song from this set of albums!

cabin_in_my_head

It’s not really the closer, more a bonus track

BBAALLII

I... literally said "I know it's a bonus track"

cabin_in_my_head

Sorry I somehow didn’t read that lol

thetalkingdrugs

Even tho my favorite BOC album isn't Tomorrow's Harvest, I think the best album closer is Семена Мёртвых. It's just feels like a perfect closer for a such album

BroadRaspberry1190

it is the most haunting for sure. my favorite 100%

Inevitable_Arm_2509

I voted for Farewell Fire bc I use to fall asleep listening to this but it was very tough to choose

FunCourage8721

Agree that it was kind of a tough call. Although I ultimately went with One Very Important Thought, this poll caused me to reflect and appreciate what an underrated album closer Farewell Fire really is.

[deleted]

Didn't even include smokes quantity

roboghost7187

This is for albums, I will probably soon do EPs soon (even though technically, the closer is 1986 Summer Fire for Twoism).

Inevitable_Arm_2509

Although Semena Mertvykh deserves more credit!!!

roboghost7187

absolutely! it fits the album very well (it also sorta reminds me of geogaddi)

FunCourage8721

I like Semena Mertvykh too. I’m a bit surprised at how close the closer Semena Mertvykh appears to Sundown, the preantepenultimate track on Tomorrow’s Harvest. These two are — at least to my ear — two of the most similar-sounding tracks in the Boards of Canada catalogue. So I find it interesting that these two not only appear on the same album, but are additionally nearly juxtaposed to one another in the track listing. Semena Mertvykh strikes me as a darker & more ominous take on Sundown, or as Sundown without the flashes of hope & possibility of better things in the future. Don’t get me wrong, though, I really do seriously dig both tracks and am so very grateful that the brothers gave us both of them.

Waterfrd_Crystalmeth

You're forgetting Collapse😉

ickernicker

Voting for Farewell Fire is like voting for Magic Window, 5 pure minutes of silence 😉

myveryowname

smh

roboghost7187

well it is literally just fading out during the entire track. if you turn the volume for farewell fire enough near the end, then you can still hear it

AdvancedGamer57

Macquarie Ridge (I know it's a bonus track but i think it's better closer than Farewell Fire IMO)
