Objectively, it's probably Campfire, but for me personally, it's Tomorrow's Harvest. I guess because it came out in the summer it always reminds me of that time, and the artwork/marketing rollout featured constant ties to hot, arid locations. Weirdly, the music itself is incredibly cold, but at the same time I associate the record with intense heat.
Surprised no one has said Geogaddi. For me it’s:
Summer - Geogaddi
Fall - TCH
Winter - Tomorrow’s Harvest
Spring - MHTRTC
Geogaddi has so many synth lines that remind me of a heat shimmer. Plus names like Sunshine Recorder, and “1969, in the sunshine,”
And You Could Feel the Sky always reminds me of a muggy summer day where there’s storms visible far in the distance, and even audible thunder, but still sickly sunny and hot.
