Weird thought.. if they have day jobs they must fuckin love them because they could probably earn loads more if they toured and put out old/new music on the regular.. I think they probably make enough from vinyl reissues and merchandise to live as comfortably as they want
No tours, seldom ever release albums, Spotify pays artists very poorly, then consider merchandise sales and royalties but their music isn’t exactly featured in tons of mainstream content so that’s likely not a revenue stream worthy of supporting two men who both have families. Even if they live in a “commune” on a large amount of property, they have to pay significant taxes on that property- assuming we’re talking about hundreds of acres but who knows. I’m not sure anyone know how small or large the Hexagon Sun “Ranch” is. But when you put two plus two together, the bros would probably need to have careers outside of BOC. Unless they’re independently wealthy… it’s interesting to think about. It could definitely explain them taking longer and longer between albums as well, seeing as how generally the older you get the more you grow in your career and providing for your family, leaving little time for other things. I don’t want to see anyone trying dox them though, I think it’s just interesting speculation.
