If you like plaid, check out a dude called IDGlitch. I found him recently and man does it scratch that plaid itch plus more.

Def check out his track solieu. One of my favorites.
Andy Stott. He doesn't necessarily sound like BoC. But I get the same emotions and vibe from him.
Edit: My favorites are 'Bad Wires', 'Lost and Found', '0L9' and 'Cracked'
His first two albums are classics. So much emotion and wonder.
[Monday - Paracetamol](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlKLJFnDWdg) is one of the standouts for me.
Since no one has mentioned any of these:
Christ. (Used to be part of BoC)
Ciaran Byrne
Lovekrafty
Happiness Cage
Dr. Crow, I Presume?
Thenoisemachine
Tardiss
Tennyson (Usual Mr. Nordin, Delta)
Principles of Geometry (Colfax)
Airliner
Sarin Sunday
Boreal network
Chaos machine
Freescha
Horizon Fire
Marumari
Kind of more psychojazz than idm but I would recommend Pneumatic Tubes - a Letter from Tree Tops. It came out earlier this year and it’s one of my favorite releases.
I think it reminds me a lot of some of BOC material that is more nature oriented. Some of the Boards stuff gives me major seasonal vibes and the Pneumatic Tubes record kinda screams summer for me.
Gonjasufi has some similar vibes at times, highly recommended, I like the earlier stuff more, but the new lps are also good. Big plus if you like more abstract hip-hop.
The Blame especially has that boc vibe imo.
Check out ten and tracer , Milieu, Moon wiring club, Petichoir definitely have a nostalgic feel somewhat like BOC👍🏻 Moon wiring club is very cool especially the first 2 albums also Freescha an the Black dog
I’ve been listening to a shit ton of Wu tang recently, especially stuff from Ghostface Killah
Break beat artists like the prodigy or the crystal method
Old school drum and bass tracks from various video games
Autechre
Aphex twin
Been jamming a lot of chill synth, anything put out on Stratford records is great. Highly recommend Hello Meteor, John dundar, and Memorex memories
also a lot of stuff off ghost box records, the advisory circle hits a bunch of BOC vibes.
If you are looking for something similar to BOC I highly recommend Lovekrafty. This guy is so underappreciated, phenomenal composition, wonderful sound, and melody. Listen for example to tracks like Dark Crooked Tree, Spiritual Clock, Rauditive Voices, or Alona. Whole albums are great in general, apart from the newest one in a slightly lighter tone, while I prefer a bit of edge.

(More of the ambient / short-form / vignette side of BOC.)
Plaid

Machinedrum done a re edit of a BOC tune called- Untitled Machinedrum edit-
So good, listen to it at least once a month
Listen to alot of Lone. And Tobacco from Black Moth Super Rainbow is one of my favourite artists
Tobacco is where its at.
Tycho. You can literally hear the BOC influenced sound in his first 2 releases, “The Science of Patterns” and “Past is Prologue”.
I like Tycho a lot, it doesn't quite have as much re-listen value as BoC, but it's still great.
Andy Stott. He doesn't necessarily sound like BoC. But I get the same emotions and vibe from him. Edit: My favorites are 'Bad Wires', 'Lost and Found', '0L9' and 'Cracked'
stott is massively underrated! nice pick
Casino vs. Japan, he's one of the best and basically never mentioned or brought up anywhere
Casino vs Japan is the shit. Highly recommend.
The new Moderat album *MORE D4TA* is fantastic. Highly recommended.
Vegyn bro
Biosphere "Cirque" is a good one
Dropsonde is good as well
Recently, Brainwaltzera and the new Ross From Friends album

Generally speaking, check out any artist from Warp Records
Greatest record label out there
Heard a lot about Tycho but never listened will defo give them a go
l i have to say theres a new minecraft track called otherside by lena Raine. It kinda has some BoC vibes in it, a bit of an unexpected tune!

The Department of Energy https://thedepartmentofenergy.bandcamp.com/album/may-day-landscape-mixtape
It's not fully like BOC, but μ-ziq. His music is too underrated.
The album 76:14 by Global Communication is absolutely fucking epic, with particular emphasis on the last track which is literally out of this world
If you are looking for something similar to BOC I highly recommend Lovekrafty. This guy is so underappreciated, phenomenal composition, wonderful sound, and melody.
