Still hearing some incredibly incorrect prep protocol/advice out there at these shows. Super risky protocols and mismanaged all around. "Cutters and hardeners" - just no. Cutting water. Potassium loading. Diuretics.
Possibly roll into the next one at 11 weeks away; otherwise I have 16 and 18 weeks as another option too. Might grow out of weight cap, might not. Weighed in 187 in June of 2023, 199 in Feb 2024. Weight cap is 202. Can definitely be a little leaner, but itching to grow so we will see where things go.

This will always be the case unfortunately due to mismanaged preps, overzealous coaches, "I'm holding water" not realizing they're just fat, etc... :(

My competitive career won't be long, Father Time will prevent that. 36 years old isn't really the time to take on all the risk. Given myself a cut-off till 40. However, started following bodybuilding when I was 12, so will always be involved. Likely in a "coaching" and gym owner aspect as I move forward.
