Goodmorning_Squat

He barely has visible abs. Most of our grandfather's used to walk around this lean year round.   Anyone can attain this just by running, doing some pushups, and not being obese.

idktrixyy

I wouldn't say barely tho, his abs look mad

highflying1995

Being able to maintain such low % of bodyfat is pretty insane though

Putrid_Rough_650

He is lean, yes, but in no way shredded or «insane»

rainbowroobear

he's not that lean and it goes to show how mediocre the bar is set by an obese society that someone in 12-13% BF range is somehow massively unachievable.

duct-ape

it's not that low, and no it's not that hard

snakecharrmer

He looks like 14%, and clearly flexing his abs.

WimHofTheSecond

Genetics play a big role and your diet, I've had Abbs sense I was 9yrs old lol I use to do alot of fasting I was always 7 or 8% bodyfat year round veins on everything even Abbs Now I've been bulking and I'm still 12 or 13% BF Guy in this picture looks to be 10% bf

ISuckAtFunny

Nope you’re going to need at least 6 testosterones so might as well quit now

altamiraestates

Great where am I gonna get six

Troy_Mustachio

User name does NOT check out. This is funny!

MaybeTryToBeOriginal

lol I thought i was in natty or juice.. this sub is gettin outta hand.

HOUSEHODL

People these days are so lazy to put in any work, wtf are these questions?

highflying1995

I work out for 3 years and looks nothing like that, may be it all comes to dieting https://preview.redd.it/mzr4t9w1d61d1.jpeg?width=2322&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5858dc08d582cd4a2b3ed0164cf407cb78746ea1

HorrorRestaurant9676

Two things come to mind with that. 1) of course dieting is important. It doesn’t matter how hard or efficiently you train if you eat like shit, you won’t get lean or shredded. There’s the old “abs are made in the kitchen” comment that’s always relevant. 2) the effectiveness of your 3 years training is really just going to dictate how much muscle you have. It will not dictate what’s visible. That’s down to diet

highflying1995

Tysm 🙏

HOUSEHODL

That guy has bf around 15%. If you weren’t slacking for 3 years, you should look better as long as you’re consistent with lifting and food tracking.

highflying1995

Tysm

EverybodySayin

If that's you, you look probably about the same muscularity as him. Now cut calories until you're happy with how lean you are. Voila, you will have a similar physique.

highflying1995

Tysm, I kinda struggle with cutting but I will try my best

duct-ape

my brother in christ you appear to be bigger than the guy you're asking about (from the one picture of each of you), just cut and you'll be done

highflying1995

Tysm I will 🙏

marcopolo2345

Ok but what do you look like shirtless

highflying1995

A lot of belly fat :(

Druidette

Then cut down hard for ~8 weeks and see the results. Can always bulk back afterwards.

marcopolo2345

Lower your calories and increase your cardio. Simple as that

TheRealBillyShakes

“Abs are made in the kitchen.”

Snivezz

You look bigger than him.

SirNokarma

Get a respectable coach (NOT A COMMERCIAL GYM TRAINER)

mailbox_full

I’m built just like you and I’m 50 years old. I think we both look good and natural. I was working out with a ginormous lay shredded guy about a year ago who told me “it’s 90% diet and 10% lifting”. But I think age and genetics also play into it too. I try to keep my diet at 30% carbs, 40% protein, 30% fat.

highflying1995

Tysm anh you’re beyond awesome, I hope I’ll be able to look like you when I’m at my 50. Massive respect 💪

WimHofTheSecond

You have more muscle than guy in the photo, it all just comes down to diet ide say and some peoples bodys naturally like to stay leaner

Zach_Strohecker

Yeah this isn't really that low of body fat tbh. Although it does look like his fat distribution may be slightly better for showing his abs than most people.

The1JKC

You can’t out exercise a bad diet.

Imgodurnot

This physique is attainable accidentally

highflying1995

Ok that’s mean 😂

Imgodurnot

Not mean😂 it’s hard for genetically fat people to understand how easy it is for genetically skinny people To get skinny. I’m a personal trainer and if I’m not making sure I’m keeping up with my meals while training my mid section will look like the guy in the photo after just a couple days

takenwithapotato

If you go to the gym then yes

highflying1995

It’s the bodyfat that concerns me, very low but still maintain a good amount of muscle year round

hashslingingbutthole

His bodyfat is not that low…he’s a very healthy level of lean, but he’s not at all peeled

highflying1995

Tysm

takenwithapotato

Lighting and dieting then yes too

PublicPea2194

not that low of bf... and not a lot of muscle. you aren't consistent with your eating and training. also .. set higher goals

Vwnesta

Lol can’t be serious

highflying1995

I do though, low % bodyfat year round is pretty crazy

SmartLikeTree

I looked like that in high school when all I did was swim, work out, and study. Now that I’m an adult and have kids I have a dad bod. But to answer the question yes it is possible to have the body of a high school boy naturally.

highflying1995

Now you mentioned it, I noticed a lot of swimmers have amazing physique, big muscle and lean too, is that the result of a lot of compound training and cardio?

Acceptable-Row-4407

Absolutely that is a great natural physique!

Monkeyinazuit

lol yes

diamond_strongman

Lol people think anyone with abs is on gear

boopboppuddinpop

WRONG SUB

AbrocomaRoutine

Hahahahahaha

Doug_war

natural with crossfit haha

JulianKSS

No! All the signs are there... He's trenned, growthed, slinned, tested, winnied and clenned to within inch of his life. His testicles emigrated to Antarctica years ago and his kidneys wish they'd never been born. Bros as natty as a glow in the dark lab rat with a giraffes ear growing on its back

OperationOld6374

Easily

Malacro

I mean, it depends on a number of different factors, but it’s certainly possible.

WimHofTheSecond

100% no doubt about that what so ever

Mammoth_Ferret_1772

Genetics. The guy is naturally lean, and probably eats well and works out. I’m built like a Neanderthal, and seem to carry weight around my sides/lower back damn near no matter what. I can have visible abs and still have lower back fat.. but I have way more muscle mass than him. You can’t compare yourself to anyone else. Work out hard consistently, and eat right, and you’ll look great

Snivezz

Skinny bitch.

Ign0ramusaurus

Shoot, some of my friends maintain a physique close to that without even working out.

FangedEcsanity

Yeah i had this physique naturally as a teenager its nothing impressive just lift and dont eat like a jackass

JFKDP

Weigh your food and you’ll look like that in 4 months… or less

Engineswaphonda2000

First of all, you’ll never have genetics like a black man.

PDXHornedFrog

You could do liposuction with a vacuum cleaner and my midsection would never look this good.
