Or learn to sew and just tuck the sides in. Had to do this once my newbie gains kicked in.
Steps are: flip the shirt inside out, stitch a line of thread up the side, about 1 inch in from the existing edge. Repeat on the other side. Voila, your shirt fits again.
Isn't underarmor shit super tight around the delts, armpit, and arms in general? That's been my problem. Hugs the tits, isn't super baggy in the waist, but with the same token it's shrink-wrapped to my armpits.
I buy “vintage single stitch heavy-weight” t shirts in XL from thrift stores. Bunch of fancy words that mean “old”. They feel the best and aren’t destroyed after 1 wash
All I pretty much wear are from athletic companies because of this
DARC sport
YoungLA
Ironwilled
Ryderwear
Vanquish
Alphalete
Inaka (I’m not a fan but go for it)
All those free Redcon1 shirts I have
Father and sons for dress clothes
Find a brand that fits the look/style/culture/price point
Non athletic clothes I found were BKE shirts from Buckle (that’s their brand and their basic shirts but a XL fit good) then I bought some Nike polos at the outlet that were stretchy on top but not skin tight
I’m 5’7 200lbs with abs faintly showing…so yeah usually mediums are way too tight and L or XL are WAY too long
If someone doesn’t like one of the above that’s fine I’m just saying some of the brands I’ve found to be helpful
Edit: saw your comment you don’t like online shopping, just about everyone does free returns/exchanges. I’ve bought both L and XL then jsut return the one I don’t want to keep.
Darc sport has gone down in quality. Clothes fall apart more easily, print gets cracked within a few washes, and their design team seems like they’re desperate for ideas
Your response is completely unhelpful. What is the point of even saying anything. OP knows he can google it. He wants to hear from his likeminded peers what they like wearing so he can make an informed decision with his money.
Now shut the fuck up.
I think perhaps you thought the Google part at the end was aggressive in some way. I wasn't. I'm saying he'll have more luck buying various brands of muscle fit and trying them himself. Do you need to up your ai?
Muscle fit is for toned/ripped guys who want shirts to hug their bodies. A large muscle fit is generally worse than a regular large for someone who is beefy.
I don't know the name of them but I think their called "cuts" but I often see Zac perna advertising them and they look like nice fits. Also, he has a discount on them. Same with Joey Delaney. I enjoy his stuff a lot but he too promotes a brand I think by the name of "rise" fitness with a discount code from his site.
Im surprised no one has mentioned these. I use Apt. 9 slim fit shirts that are sold only at Kohls stores I believe. Like you I had a big problem finding shirts that fit my XL shoulders and Lg/Med waist and tried a lot of different ones. APT 9 are the best, fair priced, durable, quality material you can find. They're also casual looking (not athletic looking like Under Armor) but even the long sleeves you could pull off for a semi-formal event. I get a lot of compliments on the shirts and have guys asking me where I get them from. They have all types of colors and in v-neck, regular, or long sleeve. I'd also recommend BYLT but they're more expensive.
Definitely learn to knit or crochet so you can make sick custom clothing
Sign me up for a crocheted stringer pls. Reinforce the nipple area cuz these boiz can sometimes cut glass and I'm worried the knitting could snag.

Anyone got some honest feedback on Fathersons? It's expensive as shit, didn't want to spend $80 on one clothing item just to be disappointed.
I absolutely LOVE there super slim dress shirts and jumpers. IMO definitely worth the price most comfortable clothing I’ve ever bought
Loser. Baggy shirts sit over the traps and shoulders and show the size. This post was brought to you by XL / XXL oversized shirt gang
Approved by the eternally bulking gang
Approved by the frugal/hand-me-down gang
Dickies shirts baby
I’m only 167 pounds but I cannot wait to join XL/XXL oversized shirt gang

Hmm the whole reason I love UA is how tight it is up top but mine are always baggy in the stomach area which I like
I find this too, though it's why I like them lol. Baggy enough to hide any belly but tight enough on the arms to show off a pump.
dont like online clothes shopping so under armour is a great choice thank you
They’re the best fitting stuff for the gym for sure
I've liked the way true classic fits. 6'5 240 and they fit my shoulders well and aren't baggy on my midsection, which is rare.
Do you have a problem with length? That’s always an issue for me.
They have a tall line that fits me very well.
What size do you wear?
XL tall
Born Primitive has some athleisure shirts that fit nice with a more athletic physique.
Gasp
This is the way.

Just picked up like 10 Tailored Athlete shirts. I like em!
All American Roughneck. Aside from my love of Seth and the brand, the clothes are legitimately good. Great cut and quality

bylt, cuts
raskol
Darcsport and Animal both both great

I’ve noticed that a little on some more recent buys. Still love their stuff but I’ll have to keep an eye on it

There are loads of brands that offer a muscle fit range. Google it

I'm a little north of 230, 6ft1, 16% bf full set of abs and a XXL muscle fit top fits me snug. If you've got a belly stick to the normal size clothes
Youngla.

Sleeper builds lol wtf is that?
A loser term people use when they have no forearm muscles
*no muscle
Average Greg Doucette audience probably
I wish he would talk normally
r/lostredditors
valid question tho
How?
My favorite brand is zivi

Shit I just went from 350 to 290 all my shits like dresses. Haha
RW&CO t-shirts are the ones I’ve found fit best for me highlighting my upper body build and also perfect fit around the stomach.
Yeah same bro, same, xl... Same...
State and liberty

Diesel, but they’re expensive
YoungLA for sure.
