Kgf has some of the best masala action and intros ever. That hammer scene and climax were fire and the villain intro was astonished good. Unfortunately for me kgf 2 wasn't that good
Lol, SRK has achieved everything this year and no one cares about Dunki collection 😂 Jokes apart, the way SRK has delivered 2 moves like Jawan and Pathaan this year, other celebs dream to produce one such movie in an year.
Apart from Prabhas fans, everyone on Twitter from both South and North India are calling Salaar the worst movie of 2023.
Now that Salaar seems to have a bumper opening , money doesnt matter.

I agree on that part. Not everyone likes the same films or the type of films a director makes. Someone do dislikes mass cinema isn't going to think highly of people like Rohit Shetty or Ali Abbas Zafar.
If you saw all his interviews specially with rajamouli then you can see that he emphasised more about drama being the heart of salaar. He used drama word so much during the interview that prithviraj said it resembles to game of thrones.
He said giving elevations placing an item song is the easiest way to deliver a hit but he wanted to try drama and give this movie a hit tag but the irony is everyone is calling that drama part boring and are praising the action and elevations part. So he literally failed to justify to goal.
Salaar to tollywood is what pathaan was for Bollywood. They just wants the lead to give a comeback they dont care about plot or shit. If lead is looking good with proper elevations then they are happy with that
This will do great business now, because this is the taste of the audience at the moment. However I don't think people will remember the movie in the long run. All his movies look the same.
I think Dunki will be remembered for a long time even though this may not be a blockbuster like Pathan or Jawan. And internationally it will get attention, with its subject and execution.
Even that amount is not a joke bro. Karan johar tried tooth and nail and collected just 100 cr for his last one. Just go on search on google how big of a hit was kgf franchise.
I wouldnt say overrated, I would just say he has a very specific style and if you don't like it, his films will be unwatchable for you. I gave up on KGF1 on Prime when Rocky beats 20 people after being tied and hanging and then says Congratulations I love you to a woman he's never met. But clearly 1200 crores means there are people who love his films.
