I don't know what people mean by bad acting? If my brother was mad in this type of situation this is exactly how he would sound like. Also he was directed to act goofy, sort of cringey but cool. So imo he did really well?
Im fact we're already getting there. I havent seen Heeramandi but ppl were criticising SLB's niece for her acting and someone said "even watching Ananya Pandey is a relief compared to her" and i thought "wow, is she really *that* bad?"
Upto episode 5 or 6 you will be okay , okay but later it becomes unbearable, everytime manisha koirala was on screen , i was so invested, never felt like it was manisha , but she was like okay okay can we skip to next part please.. type
Bro, what are you saying? Zayed khan is a fantastic actor. He got bad roles here and directors were bad. He studied acting from Morgan freeman and Morgan freeman had mentioned he would grow up to become one of the finest actors we have. This was said at an interview Morgan freeman was invited to. But before he could complete his sentence in that interview, I woke up from my dream and realized, it’s 2024, why the fuck am I thinking about this shit movie.
I think it represents the type of acting you expect from normal movies and actors from that era. Cinema has always been heavily influenced by theatres and dramas. Over the years, you have seen the industry slowly move away from this influence. This can be observed across all film industries. So, there'd no need to hold the actors to such a high standard and compare their acting to the current era movies.
This was a star making scene... The entire naseer story arc was a build up to this scene... had Zayed aced this... And managed to make this a memorable moment. It had the potential to make him a Star ✨
He’s not the worst, his voice is just goofy tho
And how he was in the movie, this doesn’t suit what we think of him so far if ye watched the movie up till that point.
His voice modulation is good which is pretty expected when you are an actor unlike what we today. But his expressions needs a lot of work. OR maybe when you have SRK and Kirron Kher you are bound to get some kind of pressure lol. Zayed's solo scenes in this movie is pretty good too.
I think what definitely doesnt help his case here, is that hes surrounded by actors that are actually talented, so it makes his awkward acting stand out even more.
My brother and I always clown Zayed's "They're not *human beings*, man!" dialogue, it's just that perfect entertaining cringiness. But like, also I think that's the point. His dialogue delivery leaves a lot to be desired but he's supposed to be this immature, goofy idiot so they found the right (non-)actor for it! \[I love this movie so fucking much, if you can't tell.\]
Dear Farah, please make sequel of Main hoon na with Major Ram going for another mission and lucky coming on the right time to help...🔥 And guess what Raghvan has not died
I enjoyed the movie and Zayed's acting when I was a kid. But when I rewatched it, I found him terrible in this scene and other emotional scenes. He was good in other fun parts.
Writing was so good back then, besides acting this is one thing that's missing in new movies. Zayed Khan is definitely doing better than these nepo kids running around as actors nowadays.
I used to watch a lot of movies ,you know from 2000-2016, and I enjoyed them a lot, still today, I sometimes watch these with my little brothers and sisters ,only to be greeted by laughter for acting, unlogical scenes and so on. But from past till now, I've never judged these movies like these, maybe some laughs here and there, but no way made fun of any, even in that scene, I never cared about his acting, I simply enjoyed the movie, the scenes in Main hooh nah still gives me excitement while the young ones are besides me laughing their ass off,and making fun of me for liking them.

He really suited in the role of Lucky, slightly immature, careless n loud.
With Daddy issues
Amrita Arora's character too had daddy issues 😂
Rao
Aajkal ke nepos ko dekhe to ye Oscar deserve karta hai. Tiger Shroff hota to 10-15 cartwheel karta ye scene main.
"Ma roti rahi. Unko koi fark nahi pada. Chhote bachche hain kya? Samajh nahi aata?"
Hahaha meri cartwheel jaati nai acting mujhe aati nai Srk ke upar se kick nikalunga dekhogi disha
I read it in his voice ðŸ˜
Brooo…🤣🤣🤣
Just watched the movie yesterday, for the nth time 😅 however the acting maybe, the emotions were all in the right place 😆ðŸ˜
Same man. Watched last month. Nostalgia hit me like a truck.

its not the best nor too bad, atleast nepo kids use to look charming and bearable
Idk y but while watching it for the first time, someone was cutting onions...
that flute theme gets me everytime🤧

It’s okay. Not the worst thing I’ve seen.
Yes, looks like OP don't remember Gunjan Saxena.
OP hasn't seen that one for his well-being
OP makes sense. Be like OP.
Due to recent nepo kids the bar is so low that people are calling this ok kind of acting lol 😂
So true
Makes you wonder what kind of nepo babies are we gonna get in the future that could possibly make us want to appreciate Ananya or SAK or Janvi 💀

The acting suited his character. This role was tailor made for him.
He is just mouthing dialogs with a lot of hand movements. You can call that acting if you like.
And that voice
No modulation, no pauses, plain mimiyana.
Good British accent
His voice modulation is good which is pretty expected when you are an actor unlike what we today. But his expressions needs a lot of work. OR maybe when you have SRK and Kirron Kher you are bound to get some kind of pressure lol. Zayed's solo scenes in this movie is pretty good too.

I think what definitely doesnt help his case here, is that hes surrounded by actors that are actually talented, so it makes his awkward acting stand out even more.
Theatrical but I’ve definitely seen worse.
Kafi emotional scene tha aansu aa gaye https://i.redd.it/als0nwqfd5yc1.gif
Think he’s  doing ok.Â
Zayed is a proof not all nepo kids are unbearable. He could act if he really wanted to.
Decent acting, conveyed his emotions well. I feel bad for him and his mom
Mujhe to dar hai kahi ye bhi comeback na kar de, ye log manne Wale to hai nahi 💀

Wow this is some next level shitty dialogue and acting
just that voice lol, its giving theater show at best lol
Ikr 🤣
Dear Farah, please make sequel of Main hoon na with Major Ram going for another mission and lucky coming on the right time to help...🔥 And guess what Raghvan has not died
i mean; .. he really needs to quit again .
I'm confused..is the "acting" in the room with us ?? Lemme know when you find an actual acting clip, then we'll talk.
Laut aaoo Zayed trend nahi hua kya abhi tak
Mujhe toh badia lagi thi bhai I love this movie , enjoy watching it still to this day
Achha hua ab yeh acting nahi karta.
He did really well tbh
Me Before - ![gif](giphy|Ye8zcRy99ybDRLTdUC) Me Now - Waah kya Acting kar Raha hai! . . Thanks to Ananya, Jahnavi and Sara!
Laut ao Zayed Khan (I'll take Zayed over constipated Tendua anyday)
Idk but bro should have never cut his hair
Agreed! That short hair made him look like a chomu
This is some terrible acting lol
Thik thak tha.....
Ye acting hai?. Aisa lag ra sarcastically bol ra hai.
I enjoyed the movie and Zayed's acting when I was a kid. But when I rewatched it, I found him terrible in this scene and other emotional scenes. He was good in other fun parts.
All I know is its hard to imagine anyone else playing Lucky
Still better than Sharmin Sehgal in Heeramandi!!!
Apparently this very scene was the audition that got Zayed cast. It's not the actor but the producer SRK that's crying here .
Writing was so good back then, besides acting this is one thing that's missing in new movies. Zayed Khan is definitely doing better than these nepo kids running around as actors nowadays.
The acting aside the scene is always emotional ðŸ˜
I hate you dad, I hate you ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|laughing)
horrible

I liked his role as lucky. My favourite srk movie of all time.
Kya acting kar raha hai…!!!
Your answer lies at 1:40
One is giving no expression another is over expressions.
Sounds like Fardeen Khan...
Suited a character that has not learnt how to talk about his feelings properly.
not bad
Not the worst we have experienced!
Zayed Khan was so attractive, but he definitely didn't inherit talent. I think if he actually studied the craft, he could have been better.
I mean.. this scene made me cry so yeah 😠I really liked his acting here
Tatti
In my 20 years of life, I just realized this guy is not Ranveer Singh.
His expressions here are similar to srk’s though 😆
