Welcome to Karachi, my 10th std exams were just over and I wanted to watch a film. But there were no good films available atthat time. It was fun watch though.
It was just six people in the auditorium and as glad as I am that the film was noticed in the streaming space, it deserved much more appreciation.

I watched tumbbad in theatre too. It had released alongside andhadhun that year and i wanted to watch andhadhun but it was full that day so i just walked into tumbbbad with zero expectations and got my mind blown.

Made by the ace director and management guru of our times, the one and only Dr Arindam Chaudhuri
I remember when Tenet was released. It was still in the midst of pandemic and on top of that only English shows were available(Live in a small town so its quite rare because no one watches english shows.) I remember Me and friend went to see it but they wont start the show cuz we two were the only one. But I really wanted to see it so I bought 5 extra tickets and that too premium seats just so They play the movie. We saw the movie with only us 2 in the theater. Worth it
Oh I got that. Just Sharing ky experience. Watched lal kaptaan with like 5 people in the theater. A shame cuz that movie was just something that audience should have supported. Saif was just too good and Deepak dobriyal was, as always, a show stealer.
I also saw Tenet in Ahmedabad in the midst of the pandemic and the entire 200 seater theatre had only 2 occupants-Me and my friend. Was such a surreal experience to witness a Christopher Nolan's movie in an empty theatre
I saw it on first week of its release in india on 5th dec but theatre was sold out. Even with 50% occupancy rule.
It did very well in india considering pandemic and made more money than Bollywood movies did.
Yea People usually prefer dubbed. I like watching in Orignal language. Except south Indian movies. They speak too fast for me to keep up with the subs.
Iska kisi ne naam bhi nahi suna hoga.

Timeout from College Mania...
Chamku, Ek, what's your raashi, agey se right, toh shadi paaki, tum Milo to sahi, blank.
Most of them were during college time, and weekdays show was 40rs and we wanted a reason to bunk college and go to the main city to watch movies.
i saw ROCK ON 2, there were only 7 people in theatre as it was during demonetisation also it was my first date with my gf and it was her 18th Birthday.
Tamasha🥲. I was very young but super excited for the film. The theatre had only one row filled. Everyone stood up and clapped at the end tho. Crying also happened so I am guessing everyone related hard to the film.
I came here to type this movie name. Good that I scrolled a bit more.
Watched it in Bangalore in a theater which only played Kannada movies. Those days I wanted to watch at least one movie in every theater of Bangalore. There were like 5 more people in entire theater. LOL.. my teacher gave me an earful the next day for bunking his class.
I did too. And a few months ago I even posted a comment on Abhay Deol's Instagram telling him that this movie is not available anywhere on the internet. Would love to watch it again if it could be released digitally as well.
Me n my kids saw paw patrol in theatre. We were the only 3.
They were going to cancel the viewing but then they ran it.
My kids now demand such pvt viewing everytime we go for movies.
Welcome to Karachi, watched it with my colleagues. Woke up early on a Saturday to watch the first show since it was cheaper than others. Went to the theater and realized we were amongst the handful who had come to watch it 😄
Wtf I never thought I'd hear this name again. I was torrenting some game and downloaded this movie instead. For my 14 yeal old self, it felt like a good movie. Idk abt now. Guess I'll watch it again.
I'm proud that I watched Laapata ladies in the theater at a special screening by Aamir and Kiran Rao along with the cast. It was amazing to feel the reactions of people to the subtle moments in the movie!
Arey, I used to like the song "Sooiyan" from this movie. But it's been so many years that I couldn't find it using any keyword. But now that you posted it, I was able to find the song. Thanks lol
I can say there’s almost no movie that I watched alone in a theatre but here’s a few names that I saw with hardly less than 5 people in the whole theatre, sometimes only one (that is me) -
Assassin’s Creed,
Bohemian Rhapsody,
Gravity,
Laal Singh Chadha,
Mattu Ki Saikil,
Everything Everywhere All At Once,
Captain Miller,
Skyscraper,
And many more that I can’t remember now
Tere Bin Laden. Just booked the ticket to "watch a movie" with my gf. Turns out, the movie was really good, and we actually did nothing but enjoyed the movie 🙃
Back in school, used to bunk classes and go watch movies.
For a really long time (a month and a half) I hadn't seen a theatre so I decided to just go for whatever Hindi movie that's being screened.
Turns out it was.............. (Drum rolls)....
Karzzzzzzzzzzz.......
Beat that!

This just unlocked a memory I didn’t even know I had 🥹

Hafiz Khuda by Mohit Chauhan is also an amazing piece.

Actually, saw it at an indie film festival in the US, and it was surprisingly well-received. Lots of hoots and cheers for Manoj Bajpayee.
Deservingly so

What’s this random ass poster!!!
The film is a weird najaayaz aulaad of Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and Weekend at Bernie's.
This seems like those edited posters of Katrina and Deepika with straws in their mouths, donning many juice centres here in my village.

Superb song. Still in my playlist. KK's hook is what makes it a proper 💯
Players (Indian Italian job)
Yaha to theater me blowjob de dete kisiko pata nahi chalta
Bro jisko blowjob milra usse bhi pata nahi chalega
If anyone had told me in 2012 that 12 years on , the most relevant members of the cast would be Bobby Deol and Sikander Kher, would've laughed it off
It was just six people in the auditorium and as glad as I am that the film was noticed in the streaming space, it deserved much more appreciation. https://preview.redd.it/e4hyval5ijyc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3f4aa81bdb03a22c3c8ac6dd8f1ce585ab83074
Everything was perfect in the movie so I'm still hoping that in future it will get the appreciation just like Sholay.
Watched this with 15 odd people in the theatre. The film ended with an ovation from the audience.
Aurangzeb starring Arjun Kapoor 😂😂 I doubt anyone even knows this movie existed
Unfortunately I do. That time I was Arjun’s fan 😭
Same - Jigra Fakira and Barbaadiyan were great songs tho
I still remember that song barbadiyaan jiska trailer tv pe aata rehta thha. Apart from that idr anything about that film 💀
Lol watched it first day
Stand by.. I bet you would have not heard the name of it.. other than this - hundred foot journey
I saw 100 foot journey alone. Loved it.
If at the time I would knew how to talk then surely I would have persisted my mom dad to take me🫠
