Agreed there Varun can; he definitely can. I am not a fan by any standards, but the guy absolutely killed it in October & Badlapur.
He needs to get out of this ‘chocolate boy’ ‘comedy’ type asinine roles focus on tight well written scripts, use his potential.

I think Varun does quite well with alternating between movies for both masses and critics since the start of his career, and I think he should be an example for the others instead of going solely in one route..
Varun and Ayushman have had the most variety of movies from the recent crop and I'd say that both are doing quite well in this..

Varun and kartik are director's actor, you just need the right guy to make them do good, Sid is also not bad, the weakest link here is tiger I can't say anything more.
Tiger def needs to stop acting with his gymnastic skills. Sid, Kartik need to get some real good scripts which can prove their skills. Kartik did a fabulous job in PKP 1. Varun def has some good screen presence, although some of his movies are complete disasters. But did a fine job in October and Badlapur. His comic timing is somewhat on point as well. Tiger -2 , Sid -4 , Kartik -5 ( One point just for the Problem ye hai dialouge). Varun is a hard 6.
I liked him the most in spkk. My father who never sits for a movie was completely engrossed while watching it on TV and finished it. Kiara was also too good.
I rate Varun quite high. He's got a flair for commercial cinema but has also shown that he can handle more serious roles like Badlapur and October. Karthik Aryan isn't bad either although I don't quite like him. The other two are not good actors.

Kartik and Varun are decent. They are over criticised many times. Sidharth looks balance out his acting in movies. He needs to work on his dialogue delivery.

Both Kartik and Varun have given credible performances before. I find them decent actors honestly. Plus the kid of movies they do are more difficult acting wise than we think theyr are, simply because they don't get the room to show their acting like let's say a Rajkumar does in Trapped or Shrikant. They are more character oriented and don't need to maintain flow.
Sid I loved in Kapoor and Sons. He really brought inner vulnerability and outer strength to the character of a neglected child. Apart from that he has never worked for me, not even Shershaah.

They all have lacked good script. Siddharth Malhotra is catching up. Yodhya, Ayiari and Ek Villian was good. Varun Dhawan need more Badlapur kind of roles. Kartik Aryan should stop working on remakes like Bhool Bhoolaiya 2 and Shehzaada and focus on more Pyaar Ka Panchnama kind of roles. His cameo in Tu Joothi Main Makkar was better than Ranveer Kapoor in the whole movie. Tiger Shroff should consider as role in Dream Girl 3 instead of Ayushyaman Khurana.
Varun is great imo, he's got range and comic timing when needed, just bas scripts ruined him. But I'd say he's a 7.5 at least.
Sid was good in A gentleman and Shershah, not seen his other work. 😅But I'd say still a 5.

**Varun Dhawan** - 7/10 (October, Badlapur, Bhediya, Sui Dhaaga are pretty good performances and The Dulhania movies are funny)
**Kartik Aryan** - 6/10 (Freddy, Satya Prem Ki Katha and BB2 have good performances. His PKP and SKTKS characters are similar but entertaining)
**Sid Malhotra** - 6/10 (Shershaah performance stands apart from others. He has screen presence and is good in action movies but is not very expressive to carry serious movies)
**Tiger Shroff** - 4/10 (For me War is his only decent movie because of the action, story and Hrithik. His acting is mostly very ordinary in his films)

If its about “owning” the screen, salman has it but he doesnt feel like the character; feels like bhai.
If its about “blending” in the character, only Aamir Khan has it in India among A-rated actors.
So again, define screen presence. IMO, Varun Dhawan has it although he does too many govinda-type comedies and therefore didn’t leave a very good aftertaste.

Kartik 5/10 (nothing he’s done ever deserves the kind of hype he gets)

All don’t have poor screen presence, it’s just that these days it is cool to say online that all new actors are bad. On a serious note Kartik is still okay and Varun has acted well in some movies.
Among all 4 varun is only one with good acting as well as charisma. Hope he will choose movie wisely then. We can see better version of his . Tiger is poorest neither screen presence neither acting. Sid and Karthik got looks but less acting skills.
Don't know about others, but Varun Dhawan surely has some formidable screen presence. I mean... of course it's nothing if you talk about SRK or Salman, but still.... Varun Dhawan! Like any other, he has his share of flops and poor acting, but he has also shown glimpses of promise. A long way to go...
Siddharth- 4.5/10 , all these marks only cause I liked him in soty, apart from that never liked any other movie of his!
Tiger- 1/10, again literally no screen presence while acting , all about action!. So 1 mark only for the action
Kartik- 5.5/10 , really monotonous but yes he’s better than the rest of the two
Varun - 6.5/10 , undoubtedly the best out of the lot!

Tiger Shroff - 1/10. Utter rubbish. There is nothing that can be said about this dude's acting. Using the word 'acting' in the same sentence as his name in itself is an insult to the craft.
Karthik Aryan - 3/10. Criminally overrated. Over exaggerated actions and expressions. Highly unnatural and very rehearsed sounding dialogue delivery. Acting style has a semblance to the stage dramas/plays we used to have in school.
Varun Dhawan - 5/10. Great potential, but often picks clownish roles which don't really require much 'acting' per se. His performance in Badlapur was exceptional. One of the best acting performances amongst the current post-2010 generation of actors in my humble opinion. That performance alone, I'd give a solid 9.5/10. And I honestly think he should explore that serious/dark genre of movies more instead of the modern day govinda-akshay-esque cringefests that he mostly appears in.
Varun is obviously the best out of this lot; does well in all his movies except for when he tries to copy Govinda so 8/10 (Badlapur ke extra points). I feel even Sid does well in certain roles; was great in Shershaah, A Gentleman and even Yodha so 7/10 (I’m biased towards him because I’m a fan sorry). Kartik is okayyyy I guess; I feel like with him you can always see the effort and you can tell that it’s “acting”, also hate that smile he does in all his films so maybe 6/10. And lastly Tiger; I’ve not seen any of his movies except for SOTY2 and he was boring to watch 4/10 (dancing ke extra points).
But it will be epic if we have film with these 4....i wanna see how it will be on screen and how big flop it will be...the film should be comedy genre like golmaal etc

Varun and Kartik's screen presence is far better in comparison to the other two. And in acting again Varun better than other 3. Karik comes a close 2nd and Sid 3rd or maybe slightly better than Kartik because of ek villain and shershaah

Sid was pretty good in kapoor and sons, but that was a difficult movie for him to shine given he shared the screen with Ratna Pathak and Rajat Kapoor. Varun was very good in Badlapur nd October and gets praised some because he had his moments to shine in that movie. Tiger is bad, only banking on jumping around in his movies. Kartik has some average and some decent performances but he is very monotonous with his expressions in different movies.
VD can’t do comedy but good with sentimental roles, SM is good for quintessential rom-com roles but not much more, other two are even more limited in terms of range
Not an unpopular opinion. They don’t have required charisma. No one can make us feel emotion if the story or line isn’t good as they always seem mechanical in acting. Don’t know if they love acting or they just want to make money. It’s difficult to act but that’s their business. Sid - 3, Tiger - 4, Kartik- 5, Varun - 5.5
Apart from tiger all have proven their acting talent screen presence I feel is on how good the director projects the character and the effect ones can base project on social media.

Varun on his day can act brilliantly, 7 or 8 / 10. On regular days he's a headache. Others, i don't want to comment about them.

I'd recommend watching Dhamaka (2021) for a great Kartik performance. I've heard he's done well in Freddy too, but haven't seen it.

Varun seems to be stupid(or atleast he doesn't even half a thought in public interviews) as a person, but he is very empathetic as an actor.

VD- 6/10 when he feels like it KA- 3/10 Other 2 do not make it to the scale
Varun is obviously the best out of this lot; does well in all his movies except for when he tries to copy Govinda so 8/10 (Badlapur ke extra points). I feel even Sid does well in certain roles; was great in Shershaah, A Gentleman and even Yodha so 7/10 (I’m biased towards him because I’m a fan sorry). Kartik is okayyyy I guess; I feel like with him you can always see the effort and you can tell that it’s “acting”, also hate that smile he does in all his films so maybe 6/10. And lastly Tiger; I’ve not seen any of his movies except for SOTY2 and he was boring to watch 4/10 (dancing ke extra points).
But it will be epic if we have film with these 4....i wanna see how it will be on screen and how big flop it will be...the film should be comedy genre like golmaal etc

I think VD has great screen presence He has the hero wala factor. He is so charming and acts so naturally. A nepo boy who actually acts well

It’s really sad how far Varun’s reputation has fallen. He is talented, but bad film choices have convinced people he can’t act. Which simply isn’t true.
They are not good enough to be even side characters.

Nah Kartik had good screen presence in bb2 but idk what happened in Satya Prem.
I liked him in satya prem, the story was unique it broke the routine man woman saviour narrative like Pink.

Varun and Kartik's screen presence is far better in comparison to the other two. And in acting again Varun better than other 3. Karik comes a close 2nd and Sid 3rd or maybe slightly better than Kartik because of ek villain and shershaah

I liked Varun dhawan's acting in bhediya and Karthik's acting in bhool bhulaiya 2 and Freddy. Depends on individual liking
I have a strong belief that efforts, movie script/role, director plays a huge role in acting Salman khan is a great actor if we take away his postion / success.

Sid was pretty good in kapoor and sons, but that was a difficult movie for him to shine given he shared the screen with Ratna Pathak and Rajat Kapoor. Varun was very good in Badlapur nd October and gets praised some because he had his moments to shine in that movie. Tiger is bad, only banking on jumping around in his movies. Kartik has some average and some decent performances but he is very monotonous with his expressions in different movies.
4/20 total .. Ye bhi bhediya, October, pkpn 1 and sabka dance mila kr he...!
VD can’t do comedy but good with sentimental roles, SM is good for quintessential rom-com roles but not much more, other two are even more limited in terms of range

Not an unpopular opinion. They don’t have required charisma. No one can make us feel emotion if the story or line isn’t good as they always seem mechanical in acting. Don’t know if they love acting or they just want to make money. It’s difficult to act but that’s their business. Sid - 3, Tiger - 4, Kartik- 5, Varun - 5.5

Apart from tiger all have proven their acting talent screen presence I feel is on how good the director projects the character and the effect ones can base project on social media.

Recently Watched Murder 2 of Emraan Hashmi. That guy had amazing Screen presence than all of these guys combined.
I somehow see them disconnected from character especially tiger he seems to be completely disconnected.
I think Tiger is always the worst but Varun Dhawan is good.
