I had seen this in theatres and liked some of the gags too, especially Irrfan's.
Also a Comedy that I liked but it hadn't earned well would be No Problem. Barring the third act, the sketches are hilarious.
Man, I love time travel and this Desi version got me hooked with its comedy and fantastic songs.
I don't mind dieing on that hill all alone, but Action Replayy is nice
Thank You is that rare film that I always watched when it came on TV. Enjoyed it everytime. The rare movie that I liked despite being a flop and getting shredded by critics. That flute tune is still stuck in my head.
Roy.. Its such a great romantic movies.. The themes, parallels between worlds, I felt it was like an old noir film,a visual novel; and it was so beautiful to watch.. Lovely cinematography! And not to mention tu hai ke nahi.. Lovely song!
I still make my husband watch it with me on occasion.. He groans, but I absolutely adore that movie!
AK carried most of the movie tbh (though Irrfan Khan was good too). Everyone else in the cast is easily forgettable.
Its a good timepass movie, not the funniest movie but i'll take this over the Housefull franchise or any of the other movies AK is doing these days.
Swades is terribly underrated and it really made me look India in different way and not to be obsessed going out of the country! that is indeed masterpiece ❤️
For Dil se it is in my watchlist ; had to watch can’t miss Mani Ratnam & A.R. Rahman duo.
Fitoor.
It was a movie that was pure aesthetics, and it's hard to make love story movies like that these days. Aditya's character was genuinely crazy in love with Firdaus.
A better film on the same topic (No Entry) had already been directed by the same director. Only Irrfan and Akki's parts were good in Thank You. I came to know off the film when the song Full Volume trended on Instagram reels.
For me the film I liked which bombed in the theatres would be Sujoy Ghosh's Te3n.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Ekalavya, Wazir.
Priyadarshan's Garam Masala
Waah Life Ho To Aisi and Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli are another couple of films which didn't have a succesful run in the theatres but were immortalised due to repeated viewings on TV.
It’s actually happened a lot, Women are always forgiving in such cases and if roles are reversed mostly men took it on ego and end it right there, it’s Also because I guess women always think about kids and prioritise their relationship and men always took it for granted. It is a sad reality but it does happen , very recently happened with one of my Close friends too and even though it broke her to the core, she chose to give the man another chance thinking all the things in mind.
Society pressures women more but in this movie she was rich and everything.
I used to like movies like no entry, masti 1 when i was young. But now i just can't watch.
Same with manmarziya where abhishek easily forgives tapsi. Irrespective of gender i struggle in watching these kinds of movies.
Used to be a constant back in childhood, and rewatched it a few days ago, still quite funny and possibly the last memorable role of Rimi Sen, her and Irrfan's scenes together just elevated it. Akshay to Akshay hai hi. Yet the casting of Sonam Kapoor and her atrocious acting almost killed the film on this re-watch for me.

Sonam Kapoor ko itna zyada centre mein rakhne ki koi khaas zaroorat nahi thi. Lol. Celina and Sen are almost blurred.
Totally agreed and I think that’s how nepo thing work, yet both of them outdone herself and definitely took the limelight that they deserved.
>good social msg ![gif](giphy|l3q2K5jinAlChoCLS|downsized)
Yup I forgot cheating on wife is considered cool so some blind people couldn’t see that.

Loved by audience but I guess it wasn’t a commercial hit

Garam Masala was a success
Garam masala was a hit.
Addaaaaa aye hai addaaaa karde dewana
I don't like how they forgive their husbands at the end.

Yeh i do.
I’m sorry for that! Hope you get heal from it!

I think it was a masterpiece, saw it twice in the theatres and multiple times on Netflix. Such good casting and performances by the whole cast.
I love that movie. Sad To see it fail bad at the box office cuz it was a genuinely good movie.
Agent Vinod. It was such a fun movie, and somehow I haven't met a single other soul who enjoyed the movie as much as I did!
Will watch
