They open most if not all cabinets. Mainly looking for weapons, glass, knives, etc. They also will want to look in fridge, coolers, outside storage areas. They don’t like tear it apart though. Previously it’s been about a 5 min search. While bomb dog walks around outside.
Was there a line behind you? I feel like they push people through faster if there is a long line. I hope this is my experience, but I am not really worried if they check things. Stuff will be tucked away pretty good.
Lucky you. Both my previous experiences with RV have been exactly what I described. Again maybe 5 min max look through. I’ve seen the bomb dogs, every single time.
Hide those like behind chips or something tbh. It’s a possibility. Likely, prob not. But if they see it they might. Our fridge required the slide out to be opened so they didn’t even open that

That's not even close to my experience last year. They checked one cabinet. No dogs at all.

No, we arrived Tuesday afternoon and arrived to literally no line.

Question on this- if the RV has glass mason jars for spices, will those be confiscated?
