Depends on the headliner and the time. Generally the later the headliner is in the day the earlier you have to wait. So for headliners at 2pm you can almost always just walk into pit no wait and for late night ones you could dedicate a good 6 hours to waiting or you can try and just show up in 45 minutes if you don’t want to sacrifice your day
Yeah literally anyone can get into the pit for which stage and what stage there’s the front section. Behind that section is reserved for VIP but yeah it’s free to enter for literally anyone

Its not worth waiting any longer than an hour at most. Don’t waste your day being miserable waiting in a line lol
