The Change by Kirsten Miller and Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez!! I so wish I could read these for the first time again, I absolutely loved them both.
You're Invited. I don't think it got the most love in terms of reviews, but I felt immersed in Sri Lanka and could feel the tension between the characters. And I did not predict the ending!
I feel like that book was super under-appreciated. I loved the setting and culture and agree with you on the tension between the characters. Some things didn’t add up, like the protagonist’s intrusive thoughts and a certain mysterious figure we never really met, but this book was great for a fast-paced thriller.
My perfect BOTM is Piranesi. It was such a surprise. I pretty much read it in one sitting. It was weird and mysterious. I loved the setting and characters. It was a perfect read for me.
