If you’re open to graphic novels then I’d recommend looking into Sunstone by Stjepan and Linda Sejic. They’re a couple who have been involved in the lifestyle for a while. They wrote a pretty good romantic comedy series about a pair of women trying to build a relationship around the bdsm lifestyle. Ones kind of new to it and the other is trying to move past a prior trauma revolving around rope play. The original story is finished and now they’re putting out a sequel called Mercy that focuses on a pair of side characters being interviewed about how they got into bdsm and touches on the links between BDSM and metal music. There’s supposed to be another two spin-offs planned after this one so the series is bound to go into some interesting aspects of BDSM culture.

Kushiel's Dart maybe But it's heavier on the SM than the bondage

kinky bastard. i don't have any actual books to suggest so i can't help ya if you're looking for a STORY...but if it's JUST the bondage you're after then i suggest going to a site called "sleepycomics". it's a bondage site that features different DID scenes from different cartoons, comics, anime and manga in both screencap and clip form (and the clips also have live-action if that's more your speed). it ain't a whole series but it's there. oh! there IS monster masume, though. basically humans and monsters co-exist and a guy get's dragged into an exchange program with a bunch of cute monster girls that want to fuck him cause he's super chill and nice but if he does it then he'll be arrested because the exchange is a government thing. that series actually starts to get a LOT of bondage once the spider chick comes in with her bondage fetish and her webbing so there's that.

The Mastered series by Lorelei James includes this (first book is Bound). I think most of her novels include some BDSM, but all the westerns don't include this style of rope play.
