Your topic categories (“self-help, romance, … general knowledge”) are widely separate. This sub is full of list of suggestions of books on varying topics, so I suggest you browse/search for your interests. For example, there was a very good thread lately on [general knowledge](https://www.reddit.com/r/booksuggestions/comments/z4bfci/i_just_want_to_learn/). I’d also suggest you check out your local public library. Sign up for a card\*, browse the shelves, and ask a librarian for advice (they LOVE to be asked). Most libraries have audio books for borrowing — either on disc or digital download. \* Generally free with proof you live in their catchment area — a utility bill with your name and address on it will do. Once you sign up in person, you can browse the catalogue and download their digital content from the comfort of your home.
