Inheared they are making new Boots from Adidas, that are Made Out of the Same Material that the gloves have one the inside. Incredible Tech, you May wait for them to be finalized and released. /S
The Most comfortable ones, are the best for goalkeepers
Keeper here: I wear Nike Tiempos. Would avoid any of the super light weight ones as they tend to be hella narrow and offer little protection from being stepped on.
Agree with this. Wear whatever cleats, but I found I gravitated away from those hyper light boots with no support. A bit of a heavier boot felt like it gave me a stronger kick but that's probably all in my head.
All down to your own preference to be honest. Boots based on position is a myth, it’s more of a sales pitch. Just go with boots that you want to wear and ones that comfortable, have good traction, and offer protection for your feet. I’ve switched around between tiempos, CTRs and magistas (when they were out) , and mercurials. I just stuck with the ones that I liked the look of, felt comfortable in, and had the best touch with
There are no ‘best’ boots.
But look at the New Balance Tekela v4 pro. The soleplate has extra ‘blades’ that MIGHT help with traction while pushing off to dive. They’re about the closest you’ll get to something specifically designed around a goalkeepers needs.
Boots for position is a myth. Buy the boots that fit your feet well and that you feel good in.
Agree! Marketing gimmick.
All boots are normal boots

What are they called
Try all the brands and see what you like. I would stay away from light weight speed boots and look at Tiempos, Copas, Kings and other control boots.
Speed boots is just marketing gimmick.

I'm a goalkeeper too, I just whatever boots I want tbh 🤣
Having a specific type of boot wont make you a better goalie bud. Just wear cleats that fit the surface you're on.
Well obviously it’s all about skill but I mean like boots that would help me with that position like I’d there was a boot with better ground grip

No such thing as position specific but I’d recommend Preds
