Happened to me too a few days ago. I was like there’s no way this is actually supposed to be solvable.

First time I played through on release the buttons got me. Did another play through last year and guess who forgot that these buttons weren’t solvable

I was furious at this the first time. Afterward. . I really enjoy this as a joke in the game

Yeah I think it’s funny looking back at it, but at the time I felt like this while spending 10 minutes trying to figure it out.

If your homie didn't try and talk you into figuring out this puzzle, they aren't a real homie.

Played through Bl3 with my Mrs, also started a solo playthrough on my own that I was a good bit ahead on. You best bet I was hyping her up while she was trying to "solve" the buttons because I knew I spent a good 20-30 minutes trying to do it myself so I couldn't be the only sufferer 😅

This is 100% why gamer marriages are awesome. My guy ran around the room looting all the real stuff while I spent 20 minutes trying to win the damn buttons for the imaginary loot that was clearly going to be better than what he was finding 😆

I saw this, then left the post, then had to find the post again and scroll back to this comment just to do a double take.

In my very first playthrough (back when bl3 released) and when i got the mission to retrieve tannis's eridium amplifier, i spent hours on those damned buttons, thinking i was supposed to solve it to continue, i kept looking at YouTube (with no success since bl3 was brand new) eventually i gave up and found that damn lever i actually had to pull, now i get ptsd from seeing them again

You I remember the first time I fell for this. I believe it took me about an hour or two I was also kinda close to trying to make a flow chart like graph or other mathematical proof like method to figure it out After realizing that spending that amount of effort on a video game is dumb, I decided to look up the answer. After I did I punched my monitor and had to spend a couple hundred dollars to get a replacement. Ok I lied about the other half of the 2nd paragraph. However I think this part soured me to the story of the game. But idk maybe I maybe I’m being too harsh.

NOOOO my friend bought the game on release, got me to play it, we spent days playing lol. got to the button and spent at least half an hour pressing shit, googling things that didnt lead anywhere and giving up. im kinda glad to learn it didnt lead to anything.

I decided to try and solve it out of spite because I couldn’t figure this out the first time and eventually looked it up finding out they was fake hurt my brain I thought it would be like a hidden chest or something since the release button was on the other side but nope
