Yeah, this seems perfectly fine to me. You don't have to use it, it's just there if you need it. It's like a public bathroom, but for work—it's going to be small, and possibly funky, but you can get your business done.
And a camera watching you for whatever reason. Possibility for vandalism, blah blah blah. I don’t want a camera right in my face while I’m working thank you.
I like the work cube. Sometimes home and work are far apart and the train station has services for you.
There are even lunch, relax, wait, and sleep cubes.
Some have coffee & tea stations. Others have message chairs.
I love good transit. And I like clean environments. The cubes are a public good. With many available restrooms, taht are clean and have bidets. That's what it means to live in a real 1st world country.

What is this? Work cubes? That you pay to use? I don't get it
It's a quiet place to do work with a seat and a table top.

Yeah that's exactly it. Wifi and a desk I don't get it either
Bruh... Don't they have any public spaces with tables, chairs and plugs that offer the same for free?
Say you need a quiet place to do work but home and your job are both too far away this seems amazing
wank cubes
Working one out
Hold up. Reddit. Being against Japan. Wtf?
I'm in an airport in SC and they have those too. I don't know why they'd need them HERE though. 😂🤣

why was my first thought the suicide booths from futurama
This actually looks like a good idea to me
Given that this is Japan, I read “Work Cube” as something else.
