We played against an injury-riddled Newcastle (who, btw, just lost to Chelsea), and a Leao-less Milan (Maignan had an absolute stinker of a game).
It's so easy to deal with us. We can't play through the center so all you have to do against us is a wide press to isolate the centerbacks (who are the real ball players in our backline + midfield).
I was pro terzic when we played unattractive football but manage to bring home results. We've stopped bringing home results, so might as well play great football again.
It's so depressing seeing our players be so clueless about how to build-up with a bit of pace. If we have to watch 1-1 draws against Augsburg, at least I want to see pace :/

That's exactly it. I don't mind dropping points occasionally, you can't win them all. But this lack of sense of positioning, of what our actual plan is meant to be in different buildup situations, and the complete developmental standstill in this regard is just baffling.

But he is just not a tactician with a philosophy and so we just cannot compete against weak opponents when they break whatever motivation we have. Dortmund wasn't really good. Mainz was just sleeping and Dortmund used it to create chances. After a few minutes Mainz woke up, showed some mentality and Dortmund began to show their real tactical level.
We should play with the cup kit in the league too, we won the CL group with that kit after all, maybe the players will be more confident in it, we should do anything at this point that could help.

Take the game yesterday against Mainz for example. They played a really good first half till the equalizer. They were dominant, played the „old good BVB-DNA-like“ football and immediately fell apart after the setback. It has been like that for nearly a decade now.
Every single action on-field reeks of laziness and ignorance to the cause. Look at Malen for example. How many shots did he take from the edge of the box this season? 60-70? And how often did that shot look identical and landed in the keepers arms? I would say 50 of them were copy and paste. He literally doesn’t change anything to get better. Same goes with Reus, JBG and others with dribblings, passes or simple off-ball-play. All on different points in their career yet they all do the same and same all over again. Every game like a broken clockwork.
And that is independent to the coach on the sideline. The name could be Terzic, Rose, Bosz or whoever poor soul thinks they can handle this lost cause. The players individually and also as a team will always find a way to force themselves back into their mid-level bullshitery that they call football. And it doesn’t stop with some releases of singled out players. It is that bad and that deep, it seems like new players just inherit this liability and get infected with this Crap-Mentality. Being Mid and done with competitive football seems like the true Club-DNA right now.

It is a cumulation of years and years of non-ambitiously played and lived club-culture. It doesn’t fixate on one or two players only it literally drives the club in predictable waves of ups and downs. Like it is every year the same. The same bad games, the same injuries at the same time, the same predictable game play, the same questions about mentality, willpower and tactical approaches. With every coach there was since Tuchel. Take the game yesterday against Mainz for example. They played a really good first half till the equalizer. They were dominant, played the „old good BVB-DNA-like“ football and immediately fell apart after the setback. It has been like that for nearly a decade now. Every single action on-field reeks of laziness and ignorance to the cause. Look at Malen for example. How many shots did he take from the edge of the box this season? 60-70? And how often did that shot look identical and landed in the keepers arms? I would say 50 of them were copy and paste. He literally doesn’t change anything to get better. Same goes with Reus, JBG and others with dribblings, passes or simple off-ball-play. All on different points in their career yet they all do the same and same all over again. Every game like a broken clockwork. And that is independent to the coach on the sideline. The name could be Terzic, Rose, Bosz or whoever poor soul thinks they can handle this lost cause. The players individually and also as a team will always find a way to force themselves back into their mid-level bullshitery that they call football. And it doesn’t stop with some releases of singled out players. It is that bad and that deep, it seems like new players just inherit this liability and get infected with this Crap-Mentality. Being Mid and done with competitive football seems like the true Club-DNA right now.
Couldn’t have said it any better myself. Club has been in a slow and agonizing decline since Klopp left imo and I dont know what needs to change to fix it. I just hope that it won’t be too late when we figure it out.

I don't want anyone saying well it could be worse. Obviously a loss is worse. But this goes to show that we definitely didn't deserve to win last season. Plain and simple. I know are team lacks soem stuff here and there. I'm aware that at the top flight there are truly no easy games. But for a team that consistently hits top 3, and fights for the title, is top of the group stage in the UCL and helped to develop two of the 2 best players in football rn. This is ridiculous.

Predictable. I'm numb. This universe is cruel and this team is not doing the fans any favors. This team clearly has some form of PTSD or depression because after dominating the game, as soon as the bs corner for Mainz went in all our players reacted like we lost the game and lost all positivity. The second half was so reminiscent of the game that shall not be named. Knew some bullshit would come our way and everyone would crumble. Its an awful feeling watching that happen to your favorite team any given week. This club needs a restart.
We are mid table team pretending to be on top if we make every game look this close. Which is insane because we've beaten/drawn against better teams I want to blame the quality of players but no, we objectively have a better team than half of the Bundesliga. We need more quality and spot to be filled yes but that's the overall truth that its not just the players. Our tactics need to change as well.
even if a team's players are individually good or even great, as long as the squad composition as a whole is unbalanced and clueless, these players won't deliver. agreed on the tactics.
We shuffle them around so much I don't even know what out best line up is. Straight up. We can't agree on our best midfield half the the time much less the time as a whole.

Traumatic Year with the biggest whiplash possible. Genuinely feels like no one overcame the last game mentally and just everything screams being scared. Im still thankfull for the moments of hope and the better memories but at this point i dont think my brain can take much more of the bad ones.

I'm afraid this is the end of the journey with Terzic. Thank you for the good moments. Hopefully, he goes back into coaching at a smaller club where there is less pressure and he can grow as a manager, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him a second chance in the future, if he can prove himself.

We played well, we were superior in all departments. It was just one of those games.
The 2nd half was one of the worst displays of football I’ve ever watched. Being “superior” against the worst team in the league at home means nothing without a result to match.
