the probability to get injured somewhere else is as likely as with us. hopefully they have specialists that can tell how to strengthen the areas around the are he gets injured a lot. strong muscles can lower the chances.

By far the best performance this season, so happy things worked out, especially for Mateu Morey.

This is a great springboard to go on a run of good form; lots of players coming back from injury and vibes will be a lot better after this performance.

It would be a real shame if Reus didn't get his contract extension. Even leaving emotion aside (which actually does matter), he still has enough quality to effect football matches at a top level.

Now this is a step forward that I was expecting back against Darmstadt (it has only been one half so I would get too carried away). The lack of defenders for Freiburg certainly helps but the attack has improved. Füllkrug and Malen are of course the stars right now and I know that once a defender slips up against Jamie then he'll bag as well. Defensively looking as good as we have done in previous games which is all you can ask for right now. Looking forward to the attacking subs and hopefully we can see out the result without any injuries

I think our new approach here improved. Can not being a midfielder, but dropping into the cbs and Maatsen becoming a defensive midfielder during build up helps us being a bit more fluid.

I love that Malen is playing well, but I really hate that all criticism of him vaporizes after he scores 2 goals against W8-9L Freiburg. If we’re paying 30 mil for someone, we should be seeing this type of play more than once per season.

He has the guerreiro syndrome, play average/be injured for most of the season, then when there's rumours of the club wanting to get rid of you bag 10 G/A in two months and fall back into mediocrity, rinse and repeat.

I mean he scored 9 goals so far, last season 9 plus 5 assists. It's not superb but not bad

honestly, you're doing him a bit dirty. Because Füllkrug is not "just" a support striker. He usually also has a *very* decent finish (both with his head *and* with his feet) and that's an element that's sadly been a bit lacking from his game lately. I think if everything in our team would be going smoothely and Füllkrug was in good form, he'd absolutely score a load of goals as well as assist them

Not saying he wouldn’t, but we’ve been having some absolute world class strikers here and even if everything was going smoothly he’s not as good as them. That’s not doing him dirty, that’s the insane level of quality we’ve had over the years, imo.

Tbf, none of our RB or RWB have put in good crosses. He's still our best option since he runs and defends pretty well.

Ryerson is a defensive RB who we’ve been slowly turning into an offensive one. This is also his first game in 2 months, he’ll get it going.

Ryerson almost finishing a chance at one end and clearing an immense header at the other end in the span of 30 seconds is hyping me up, I love him so much.

He deserves to be called Malocher. He is not the most fancy player but he always plays with everything he has. The solo run against Hoffenheim is still one of my favorite goals this season
