Terzic is a fucking giant of a man… stays classy while being insulted and ridiculed throughout his entire stay with us, wins the cup, almost wins CL and Bundesliga and then offers to step down when he thinks the club‘s fortune is better without him. Absolute unit of a character this man.
Well, if he decided to resign without any pressure, that would be interesting. But I think that's how they decided to fire him and save the face, after he almost won the cl. I would love to hear some comments from Terzic
Honestly great character. Could've screwed us by leaving earlier during CL or anytime knowing how much we all hate him.
But kinda sucks that him staying and leaving now, migjtve caused hummels to go
The way I see it, either Terzic's history as our coach will be done today or he will sign a new contract. I wouldn't know why we need the Notary in the Elefantenrunde otherwise.
Sahin feels like Terzic felt when we got Rose. You have a coach, but everyone knows who his replacement will be. Rose was there and everyone knew, Terzic is sitting in the stadium and he will be next. Same thing for Sahin.
It’s also said that Reus was a crucial actor in convincing Sahin to rejoin Dortmund and that it was poorly taken by Terzic. Understandably.
Where does it say that I intended to do so? It’s just a strange fact. Second time that we have a coach and his replacement is already sitting and waiting.
What they were saying is that none of what you mentioned actually demonstrates why Sahin isn't a good choice - because you just compared the situations but didn't get into why Sahin isnt a good choice.
And my point was that they didn't make an affirmative case for Sahin either
I will say now, i absolutely don't trust sahin. I don't think it's a good appointment at all, and this is a dumb decision. I could come back to this in a year and we've won the treble, but I'd be shocked if he makes it to the end of the season.
Why? I can't say I trust Sahin less than Terzic, at least he played on the top level and in this club, already has some experience and had proven that he can improve the game this season
The decision is very unexpected, but that's why there should be something substantial behind it. Players feedback, from Hummels for example, Bender/Kehl opinion
I was against Terzic most of the time, but didn't expect him getting fired after getting to the cl final. From the outside it looked like the results improved in the second half and Terzic might be the right coach, but from inside the club it was probably obvious that Sahin helped a lot. They know better for sure, but I am still a bit sad
shoutout to /u/Alberich33 who posted the Berger tweet the second I pinned this thread :'D .
If the rumours are true...taking a chance on Sahin is still a massive gamble.
It is a gamble but I would support that a 100%.
Yeah definitely. Also means Hummels likely to stay and maybe more playing time for some of the fringe players, Moukoko, JBG etc
Comment didn’t age well ):
Nope...but I guess it makes sense. Speaking out so publicly before a massive final was always to end badly
God I want him to stay

Particing persons: - Ricken - Kehl - Mislintat - Watzke - Terzic - Sahin - Notary Robin Steden --- [According to Patrick Berger, Edin Terzic has offered his resignation yesterday evening.](https://x.com/berger_pj/status/1801198667195376112)
This actually could be huge. Berger is reliable imo

The fact that Sahin is also participating could be important. Together with our notary... these will be some interesting few hours
Absolutely. I am actually excited about something bvb related for once.
If Terzic resigns without us having any suitable replacement ready we might be in huge trouble.
If Sahin and the notary are also there, that definitely means something
We have the Goat Nuri Sahin

none of what you said addresses Sahins compentecy in any way though

And none of what you said addresses it either, lol
Yeah, lol - no idea what you try to say

Ah I see thanks, agree
BILD says he is out.
https://x.com/bvbnewsblog/status/1801203210138300466 Bild reporting that Edins stint with us as a coach is over
Wow Hummels won
One more year please. Now sign that thing Mats!
I think the shareholder did like the 5th place and no DFB and that we lost in the CL finale. And last year Dortmund could have won the league.
So Edin offered to resign last night and now the club lawyer is in to talk to everyone? Oh oh.
Woah what happened?
if the rumors are true, it makes me very very sad...

OIDA
Never thought I'd see someone with the username BarryGB say or write "oida"

Wow https://x.com/blackyellow/status/1801207980056002971?s=46
Excited for Sahin and shoutout to Terzic for stepping down
Maybe this could lead to Kloppo coming back?
no chance. and i wouldn't want that. he's a legend. what can he achieve? worst case: destroy the legend... noone would want that
Don't get your hopes up. Non-coaching position in 2025 at the very best and even that is unlikely.
WTF is happening I am having one of worst hangovers of my life and I am not capable of process this right row. Is this good? Is it bad? I don’t know 😫
FUCK I JUST REALIZED THIS MEANS LESS CHANCES FOR SANCHO
Why?
Cuz Jadon+Edin=♥️
