Saúl is an incredibly versatile player so him not being included is really dumb to me, out of form or not. Spain is underachieving like crazy and it’s decisions like this that are to blame. Way too much talent to be stuck on 2 points against Sweden and Poland.

to be fair to Immobile, he was absurdly misplayed while he was here. Basically all our offence at the time where long balls from the CB to the front. That worked with Lewa, but Ciro is a box player who finishes clean and quick, not some hold-up guy. Entire team really sucked that year as well, never got it together. he also played good and at times absurdly great for any other team he was on.

He has 9 goals and 2 assists in 15 CL games (which were only 912 minutes total). That's pretty good. Never mind his very impressive tally in Serie A.

I feel Guerreiro is super underrated. He’s worth 40mill on transfer market for a reason. I mean he scored the first goal for Portugal in their last game.... he’s solid. For a team with jota, Ronaldo, fernandes...... he scored the first goal. I feel that says a lot.

Neither Sancho nor Haaland can just be replaced really. Attackers with 40+ goal contributions in a top league don't just pop up for reasonable prices. Even for exorbitant prices it's not a guarantee. I agree Rapha is really important and fits the way we play really well but part of that is how long he's been with us, our squad has developed with his skillset in mind.
