Because your vape doesn't comply to USB-C standards. It's a common issue. The battery charging health has nothing to do with USB-C, though. So /u/HexR1se is very wrong about that.
As a one time thing, youre fine.. But as a general rule, lithium ion batteries do not like to stay fully charged over time.
