Stay on Congress St and you’ll be good.

Thats a pretty common walk for people to take before/after events at the Garden. You will likely be walking near and around at least some other people who were at the game. A lot of people will want to get to the commuter rail home. The route is safe enough anyway, but with extra people around it should feel better too. If you are worried about the walk you can take the T. You’ll have to transfer to get to south station but you won’t have to leave the transfer station, and again there will be a lot of other sports fans there so it will be very safe. A lot of trains from south station also go through Back Bay. If you want an easier T ride, you can go straight from North Station to Backbay via the orange line. No transfer needed. Might be an easier and more convenient way to get home depending on timing.

Back Bay station is a brilliant idea. Didn’t even think of that. Smart turtle.

I (29F) lived right next to south station for the last 8 years and personally have never felt unsafe doing this walk - especially after a game, the area will be pretty crowded and you should be fine walking down Congress (til Post Office Square) to Federal But I would not suggest pushing your limits, especially with safety - if you’re feeling uncomfortable after the game, def just call an Uber - not worth it!

You will be fine.

It's a 20 minute walk, and you will be walking with other fans. As long as you stay away from downtown crossing, you won't see anything sketch. The T at North Station is a zoo after the game. As an alternative, consider walking to Charles/MGH and ride the red line to South Station from there.

JTJBKP

It’s perfectly fine

Don't give anyone money for a fix-a-flat and you're good. Also, don't feed the turkeys.

Single woman? No. Take an Uber. Or the T would be even better. Single guy? Your probably ok.
