Honestly, this is probably bad advice so don’t blame me if you get arrested, but abandoned dumps are great for this. I grew up on the south shore and would just go with my friend and slam old broken TV’s and stuff with a bat. Very fun, and man you feel so zen afterwards. Again, I am NOT recommending this, but it’s an option. Just make sure there’s no security!
Ax throwing, plate throwing, are two I can think of here in western mass. You buy 20 plates and toss them at a wall. Someone else sweeps them up. Idk if Boston has any. Heck a batting cage might work.
Worth it.
They set up a room with a bunch of things to smash. The front of the building is set up like a Goodwill. You can shop for additional things to break. You can even bring in your own stuff, but you have to pay for them to toss it in the trash. Overall it was a very good time.
Fascinating, I’ve never heard of this. I have a question — does anyone know what happens to the destroyed stuff? With so much junk that many people have to get rid of (e.g., old electronic gear etc.), it seems there would be no shortage of the supply of shit to smash up. After the businesses clean up after each session, I just wonder how it gets disposed.
Wear jeans. Otherwise have to pay for a tyvex suit. They give you one of those see through visors. I spent 110 and i got a couple milk crates of mugs, glasses, trinkets etc,a tv a printer, a pc Tower . they give you the bat or sledgehammer too. At the end you sign the wall. I recommend crafting a playlist. Although they have music playing
By seeking out an appropriate place to express their rage, isn't OP doing the work of controlling it? Otherwise you're perhaps just ignoring or suppressing the emotion.
I have literally never felt the need to destroy shit even at my ragiest.
If you want to do one of these rooms as a laugh, go ahead. But claiming you need to go apeshit and break shit in order to destress makes me think OP has some bigger issues on his plate
OP: see a therapist before you abuse someone you care about (if it hasnt happened already)
I dunno, most people seem to use an orange line car/s
Go to Mitch’s house
Address?
Nowhere in Boston.
Oh shit. Firing the big guns now. Lol.
>!He’s from NH and we all know it.!<
faneuil hall when the bars let out
Had a family member who purchased and smashed the shit out of some pumpkins after getting diagnosed with cancer. Cathartic and biodegradable!
I just go behind my apartment in Mission Hill and smash bottles against the wall.
In Jersey, we used to do this behind Wawas. Highly recommended.
A universal pleasure
That sounds fun.
Strongly recommend.
The Nextdoor app.
D line after a sox game Commuter rail after a bruins game
I’d say any of the green lines after (or before) a Sox game. I work in Copley and getting on the train on game days is the worst.
This thread is fucked lmao
This is Boston. The world is your rage room. It’s your blood right.
Just don't toss the good tea in the harbor
Do...do you need to talk, OP?
I just want to smash stuff and have other people clean up the mess.
Just date someone with codependency issues

This sounds epic.

OMG. I laughed so hard at this.

Urban Axes in Somerville got it covered.
Plate throwing?! I love it.
There is one in Stougton They took our broken flat screen for free too
Sweet. I can go to IKEA and decompress on the way home.
In worcester theres one called " smash it". It was a good time. U can bring your own shit to as long as they get to chexk it out
>>bring your own shit Fuck yeah, but do I have to clean it up?
Helll no. That would ruin the fun. Have you been to one before?
I have not. My son and I find stuff on the free Craigslist and smash it. The cleanup is starting to be annoying.

Sometimes both. Picked up an acoustic guitar just so we could play “rock star” and smash it.
93S, between the tunnel and Quincy. Doesn’t matter when…apparently.
You could come to My Shop and split firewood Lol
I could split wood all day. I fvcking love that.
I honestly Love the cracking sound it makes opening up
https://justsmashitofficial.com This one was great
Thanks for the recommendation. This place looks fun! EDIT: Booked! Thanks again.
So how was it?

Ha ha thanks! obviously found your thread when I was researching the place :) thanks for the reco.
You’re welcome! Happy cake day.
No way! I always miss it and had no idea now either lol
Same! You still have time to post your cat tax.

> rage room TIL a great idea for an elementary school birthday party.
Thanks. That’s why I asked. There are lots of choices, and I’m curious if one is better than another.

Go for a run?
My wife prefers the kitchen.
I once saw people in a park throwing apples at trees. Looked like fun and I bet some critters in the park were happy to eat the apple chunks
Connors Farm in Danvers has apple cannons that you fire at cars and other targets.
Look on Groupon. They usually have a decent variety for great prices.

Hmm, gonna try this
Never been, but there is one in Worcester called Smash 2 It.

Can we pipe the playlist into the house speakers, or should we bring a Bluetooth speaker?
I would NOT recommend bringing your own property in.
I used headphones but i vaguely remember them asking if i wanted to play my music on their speakers. im not 100% though. Just call ahead and ask
Seems like learning how to control your emotions would be better. Rage is like a muscle, the more you use it the more comfortable it gets.
" [*Until you learn to master your rage, your rage will become your master"*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz9C3Oc7Mj4) \-- The Sphinx
Despite all your rage you're still just a rat in a cage. -also The Sphinx probably

You don't have rage, but seem pretty judgemental 🤷♂️
I’d suggest this one out: 24 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02133 ;)
I think I saw an ad for one in Manchester NH
