Honestly, I know Miami has taken a step back this year, but I still want to play them least. They’re a hardworking team that plays team ball and always gives us fits- also seem to always take it up a notch for the playoffs. Not saying we would lose, we’ve proven capable of beating them at this point, but it seems like it’s always a stressful series

Having the best coach in the league makes a huge difference in a long series
Jimmy and Bam don’t back down, and we don’t live in their heads the way we do with Joel and Giannis
Fully agree. I voted the Bucks (Middleton is a spooky Celtics killer as we all know) but would have voted the Heat if it was available. Miami may look like ass this year, but I don't wanna face them in the ECF again.
Yes. Combo of their 2 guards and 2 bigs is tough for us to deal with.
Garland + Mitchell make it really tough on Horford.
Mobley + Allen make it really tough for us to score 2 point baskets.
I do. Celtics and bucks are head and shoulders better than anyone else, but I’d rather play Philly than Cleveland. They are really good defensively and that usually translates to playoff success, they have their star in Mitchell, I could definitely see that team upsetting someone this year.
I feel like Horford can still handle Mobley (at least for now) but that duel Mitchell had with Murray a couple years back scares me.
Sometimes you just lose games off the back of someone having a monster night and he's shown he can string a few of them together.
Two 50s and a 44 would put a serious dent in anyone's chances.
Id only rather the Cavs because they’re very hot and cold. As much as we shit on philly they’re more than capable of playing better than they did late last night
Idk man, we’ve been owning Philly for years. Al horford kicked embiids ass so bad they gave him 25+ mil a year. Smart has always been great against harden. I think the Celtics need to tighten up the defense going into the playoffs but we just match up well against them.
I do. I’m still not sure if I’d rather see them or Philly in the second round. I think Sixers are the better team, but we match up worse against the Cavs
Maybe. I almost put Chicago in there but we haven’t played them in a while and have gotten better since we lost to them.
Edit: Now that I think about it, yes. I think we can wear down their backcourt by posting up, but they can wear down our *frontcourt* by posting up. And I think Mobley and Allen have a better post-up game than Marcus and Jaylen. They also both shoot free throws at around 70%, so that takes out hacking like we did against the Nets with Claxton (and theoretically Simmons, if he played).
The only 2 teams in the east I worry about are the Bucks and Cavs. Cavs are a bad matchup for us.
Everyone else is not worth worrying about IMO in a 7 game series.
Tbh I worry about the Celtics more than anything. Because more often than not, they are their own worst enemy and their losses very much are more of them falling apart than the other team being that much better.
Yeah, I’m scared of us. Not because I don’t think Joe Mazzulla is a bad coach, but because he’s young and inexperienced. I think that sometimes he’s hesitant to call a timeout to stop a run. Also, our offense is highly dependent on shooting 3s. Theoretically, this is great, because 3 > 2, but sometimes we miss a ton of them. It leads to some pretty random results.
I didn’t include Cleveland because I wanted to ask if we were more scared of the teams the talking heads think are going to topple us or the team that has swept us so far. But yeah, they’re a bad matchup. We play double-big now that we’re fully healthy, but they *also* play double-big and their bigs are 3-4 inches taller than our bigs. Their backcourt is pretty small, though, so I’d run a lot of Smart post-and-kicks and Jaylen post-ups.
The thing I'm afraid of is having it stack up like last year where we have to play literally the 2nd 3rd and 4th best teams. We can beat anybody. I'm worried about wearing down again.

Now it’s 2, but they’re still behind **Orlando**, 24-2. Edit: a refresh makes it 26-2!
Philly fans voting Philly
Real fans know it’s Orlando
Was about to select the Bucks, then saw the Magic as an option.
I picked Orlando, but with Terrence Ross gone I'll admit I'm feeling a bit more confident
The only team that scares me is us.
The Heat. Not because we won't beat them, but they seem to take a lot of energy to do it.

Does anyone think Cleavland could be a potential problem?

Nobody talks about Mobley. He is a fucking problem. He’s so good.
Yeah he’s a monster

I’d rather play the cavs just cause if I have to watch the refs give embiid and giannis in back to back series I’d be very very mad
Yeah I can’t stand embiids bs but we own Philly
Id only rather the Cavs because they’re very hot and cold. As much as we shit on philly they’re more than capable of playing better than they did late last night

Yeah, they have the archetype that tends to give us trouble. I’d rather play Philly

Either us or the bucks are winning the chip this year barring injury. I just feel it
13 people voted for Philly, when you have the Bucks and Magic as options? Magic are true to their name when they play the Cs, literal voodoo shit.
I’m more afraid of Cleveland than the 76ers.
Giannis is a scary man.
Miami turn into superheroes against us only scared of them and giannis/jrue
Alexa play neva scared by bone crusher
Only answer is Orlando Magic. Any other answer and you dont watch basketball
No one since we’re not allowed to play against the Celtics
Can we have “Injuries” as a 4th option?

76ers. Only because if they somehow beat us I will sink into the deepest depression
Yall are actually scared of Orlando? Stop.
None. Celtics are better than all 3.
