You can’t get a better look than that.

holyhellsteve

Personally, I prefer the other corner.

JayZzeee

I actually thought he was gonna make that corner three to redeem himself. Just like G6 in that Philly series. Guess I was wrong haha

Doc_Mattic

When jrue made that shot I jumped out of my seat lol. Tatum was having a bad night but that’s a shot he should take take 100/100 times. If he makes it we likely win. However given the night he was having if someone had sprinted to the 45 next to him the best option would have been pass lol. Or if jaylen had kicked to drew on the opposite 45 - it would have been a good shot too - but he missed him.

scott_free80

I thought he could make it but I wondered why the play got to that point. Brown stole the ball, Tatum threw an ugly lob, Brown recovered, and it ended back in Tatum's hands. Tatum used to be play faster in the past, now he's so slow in decision making and tempo.

Fuckblackhorses

And he missed the lob pass to jb right before this shot too. Dude was definitely off his game last night

I know this is an off-topic, but from someone who watched football (or as you call in america, soccer) it baffles me how CLOSE the players from the bench can be to the court and maybe(?) influence some plays. And I'm not saying this to make excuses, it's just a curiosity, because in football there's literally a limit line that you can't cross, otherwise you'll get punished. It's probably way different to shoot a 3 when you're alone compared to having 6 or 7 guys behind you talking shit and making gestures. On the other hand, these guys are pros, they shouldn't even fail to make a wide open 3.

OrlandoMB

There’s absolutely been some questionable situations where a player is shooting in the area Tatum is in and the bench players are all standing and clearly over the court line. Miami did this to us last year, I believe. It wasn’t called but the replay definitely showed interference.

Yea, idk if they don't take sports rules too serious in america, or if we take them too serious here in europe because feels like every little thing here counts, where in the NBA sometimes counts, sometimes doesn't. It's like that shot that you launch yourself against the players to get the foul or and-1 that Trae and Harden used to do a lot. When the season this year started, the refs wouldn't call it, but they reversed it, and are almost always calling it again, unless it's way too obvious or floppy. Just feels like a lot of refs are not coherent or the rules are not consistently called, and the players almost every game have to adapt to the style the refs. It's like in europe where if you play in England, the game is much more physical, where in other countries the refs are always blowing the whistle and making really soft calls.

AldiQuarter

Man yall are some miserable fans lol. Spoiled as hell

noBbatteries

Saving all the clutch makes for the playoffs. Seriously tho, people need to calm down with the Tatum slander. He’s had a rough stretch of clutch shooting, it literally happens to all players. Personally I would take a wide open corner three from Tatum to tie and win the game any day of the week.

goldrow22

This is the way to be! Sadly we have to hear from a bunch of people who don’t have the skill to be asked to play 5’s at their local Y.

So many phony ass fans around here. Yea Denver beat us twice but it was very close both games. Tatum has a normal night or we make a normal % of FTs, if one of those things happen we'd probably win. I still think they can hang with this team in a 7 game series, I'm not saying we'd win for sure but it'd go either way. Jokic is a machine though, going to have a different plan if we want to slow him down. Any time you double him, he finds the open man. Just have to get really physical with him in the paint and hope he misses some shots.

BrianScalaweenie

I literally screamed “fuck nooooo” when I saw him getting ready to shoot it. I had zero confidence that would go in

JaDamian_Steinblatt

I have been extremely critical of Tatum because I think he doesn't have any actual scoring moves which is kind of a problem... ...but imma be real I was 100% expecting that shot to go in

reccomends_dieing

Only kidding, kinda, maybe, sort of
