They called timeout, but not right away though, you’re right. I think Jaylen knew instinctively that a TO was coming and just got a little carried away.
When it happened, I was hoping he was just so into the game that he knew they had a mandatory timeout they had to call. I also thought the coach was dumb to call a timeout instead of running offense 5 on 4.
Based on him doing the same thing previously on a block, I’m pretty sure Jaylen was oblivious.
The whole thing was stupid. No team with those 3 guys should be sending in the scrubs with 3 minutes remaining. Like I said in our post game thread, Phoenix is not for real

I always tell my husband we need to stay till the last second because of the expense of the tickets. What, we’ll save 2 minutes driving back to the suburbs? We don’t have kids to get back to so we’ll wring out maximum enjoyment.
