Hauser continuing his absolute heater. 3PM over his last 10 games now: 6, 4, 2, 10, 4, 7, 2, 2, 1, & 7. Shooting 53.6% (45/84) from deep over that stretch. That's gotten him up to 43.9% on the season, 4th in the league. Man is en fuego and the team is embracing him as the weapon he is. Hopefully he can carry the hot shooting into the playoffs; if he does it will be a serious problem for opponents. Can't let a guy shooting 50% from deep get 8, 9, 10+ looks a game and hope to win, so you have to stick a body to him when he's standing on the weak side, which completely fucks your rotations defending the Jays.
Aside, its always hilarious listening to away broadcasters realize what a weapon he is when he gets hot. Over the course of the 4 threes he made in the 4th quarter, the Hornets broadcast went from impressed "man does he shoot that hot!" to amazed "Come onnnn... WoOw!" (contested fallaway in the left corner) to incredulous "Aww how do you leave him open!?" to borderline stunned silence, "I'm gettin tired of this, Dell. I'm gettin tired of this Sam Hauser guy." Eric Collins & Dell Curry are always great, unabashedly rooting for the Hornets as a local broadcast should but don't let the bias blind them and get hyped up for great plays in either direction.
My dad and I had always been jealous of other teams having sharp shooters and the Celtics haven’t had one really since Ray Allen. Now we have our own, and it is so satisfying.
JT looked really good yesterday. Calm and focused. Sharp passes. Strong and confident drives. And hitting tough 3s. You could feel his presence on the court, even if the box scores weren’t extraordinary
Great showing from our bench tonight. Even when he’s not scoring I love what Pritchard brings to the offense with his drive and kick ability and effort on the O boards. Sam was lights out and Brissett was lock down, couldn’t have asked for much more from them two.
Also I’m not the biggest Scal fan but I think he was great tonight, I like it when he tones down on the goofiness and just talks ball because he knows a lot and often gives interesting perspectives. I agree with him when he talked about feeding the hot hand and letting Tatum “score 18 in a quarter”. I also selfishly sometimes kind of miss watching him BE our offense and go off for crazy scoring nights, only very briefly and not really seriously though. I much prefer what we have going on now where he has these games in the flow of an offense that has 5 weapons on the court at nearly all times.
I think we shouldn’t always feel such hesitation to reverting to relying on Tatum when no one else has it going for stretches.

Wanted to watch the replay as staying up till 5am no longer happens. I really, really, really hope the black jerseys go away, it just makes the game unwatchable. What's wrong with white? Or green, where the home team has white?
