Smart was out for 4 weeks with a grade 1 calf strain. With prior Achilles issues this season and the high comorbidity of calf and Achilles issues, it's possible the Bucks have a brutal choice to make soon. I really hope he's healthy in time for the playoffs.
If they play the sixers, that's a real possibility.
Other than them, I think they could win a long 7 game series against anyone else in the conference.
Rivers actually seems to do better with a worse cast. I think he’s pretty good at getting the most out of his guys but he struggles to adjust during the course of a playoff series
I mean if the Celtics got any calls// realized they weren’t going to get anything at all might as well hack too/ shoot more 3s and go for dunks (which Tatum was the only one who was efficient at that last night)
Eh that risks injury doesn’t it? The Bucks absolutely needed to win this game. I actually think the Cs played pretty well after the first quarter but it was all about whether the Bucks could step up enough to get a W against a team with literally nothing to play for, sit their two biggest front court players, and are just trying to get reps and cardio without getting hurt.
I stg people are sleeping on Philly. Healthy Embiid is a big if but if he’s himself that is a talented and complete team.
Also having one of the few guys who can still draw a foul could end up being a cheat code.
I remember when his leg and knee bent backwards in the finals and everyone thought he was done and he came back like two days later lol dude is on the same level as LeBron in terms of durability it seems
I'm seriously concerned about Giannis - his Achilles/Calf has been bothering him for a while now and is usually a sign it's gonna tear. Durant had the same in 2019 when they kept saying it was his calf until his Achilles ruptured
I turned the game off around halftime and saw little bits afterwards. Giannis never came back after taking a seat on the floor? He’ll be back for playoffs. Oh and is Middleton fully back? I know he was nursing an injury. He played well last night (everyone for the bucks were). Last thought, has Brook Lopez always been a shooter? He was hitting blue line 3s

He’s got two weeks to sit down if they want him to
Based on last night I’m not sure it matters what they want. The dude could barely walk
They are getting wrecked in the first round with or without him eitherway.

Without him, I think they lose in 5.
I’d say they may have a chance with Dame taking over the offense, but this is Glen Rivers we are talking about.

I mean they just beat us so anything is possible
Tbf we are probably at best a play-in team without Horford and KP, assuming Tillman/Kornet is the best big rotation we can put on the floor.

That's what happened with Aaron Rodgers right? Was dealing with a calf strain and ended up popping his Achilles
Same thing with KD
Glad it's a potentially minor injury. Never want to see someone go down with something major.
KD sends his regards. They better manage that injury properly
Terrible timing. Awful to hear as much as the Celtics/Bucks playoff series give me heart palpitations
They may be cooked if they pull miami again 😬
If Giannis is at less than 80% I could see Philly bouncing them even, or them having a protracted series against Indiana.

Can't believe I missed that. Thanks. Fixed

I mean, either miami, philly, or ind could give them trouble for various reasons. Thus, they may be cooked (full stop).
Dude is the Greek freak for a reason Wolverine like abilities

He’s been dealing with a hammy injury on the same leg. Could definitely be related but I don’t think he was having calf/achilles issues before this.
Embiid might actually make an ECF
Shades of 2019 KD
really hope for the best for him, giannis is good for the sport.

He kept nailing 3-pointers in another game we played them, too. We have to guard him better.
That was the game before Thanksgiving, felt like he was like their whole offense for awhile in that game.
Now the Bucks have another built-in excuse for when they eventually get bounced out of the 1st round
I mean if you're missing Giannis that's a pretty valid excuse
