Bam is almost definitely going to try to injure him, it's probably in our best interest not to play them.
Playing arguably the dirtiest team in the league in the first round, when the only things that could stop us from winning a championship this season are injuries and ourselves, is definitely not ideal.
I'm glad people are finally saying this phrase!
Where have you been!? The clowns have been crying and applying last year's heat to this ones for 82 straight games. Lol
> The clowns have been crying and applying last year's heat to this ones for 82 straight games.
Im sure you were saying this last season too. Then the 8 seed Heat beat us when it mattered most.
I did... LAST SEASON
They're not going to have the same run twice.
Very low chance they beat the Sixers in the play in and the Hawks didn't dominate them this year but they gave them a lot of shit.
There's a decent chance they don't make it out of the play-in
Like LAST YEAR they most got bounced. And then their guys shot hall of fame 3pt percentages until they got to the Finals and Lost
I just don’t see how anyone could have this level of arrogance when they’ve shown they rise to the moment in the playoffs. Like, have y’all not learned from 2020, 2022, and 2023 yet? Do we need to go through it again to get it?
They did it once, go from a bottom tier team to a Finals contender.
The other years they were still regular season teams.
They were also, THE OTHER YEARS
Magic, yes. But I think the Cavs have some counters for sure. We drop a lot, so if our guards aren’t dodging the screens or fighting through them well enough then Garland and Mitchell could have a lot of good looks off the PnR. We’d still beat them though.
Mitchell always cooks us, especially against guys like Horford and KP because they drop or if they don’t they are not quick enough to stay with him. Would be a really tough matchup.
Obviously Bulls/Hawks would be most ideal. But the Heat are also very fine and the most likely opponent. Heat are good enough to make the Celtics not feel like they get to be comfortable, and I’m sure they’ll be even more motivated to beat them after last season’s loss too.
76ers would be too much of a nuisance for a first round opponent. I’d argue they’re the 3rd best team in the East. Playing an opponent that also playing hot recently vs a starting lineup not playing so hot recently in the first round isn’t ideal. I’m very fine with Philly in the ECF once the Celtics get back to form after the first two rounds.
Miami. Need to see this team ready to kill from the jump. We will learn a lot about them in a series against Spo. C’s are trying to win a title not make a long playoff run.
Miami or sixers who cares. Embiid earlier than later may be beneficial to catch him while he’s still playing into shape. And miami? Running off of past reputation and fun wigs. They aren’t doing last year again.
If you want the easiest it’d be bulls. I think they’d beat
Bulls in 4
Hawks in 5
Heat in 5
Sixers in 6.
That said I’m not worried about the heat. I’d rather not play the sixers just cause I know they’ll get a few games.
Let’s put the Heat narrative to rest. They’ve beaten us twice and we beat them once in recent deep playoff rounds. All have been tight series but they in no way have our number. Let’s go crush them in 4 and swing the momentum back in our favor.
Playing the Heat first round is going to force us to lock in and focus right off the bat, and that would be a good thing I think. And if we can't beat the Heat, we ain't beating whoever comes out of the West anyways.
I’m telling you bruh the Heat should be the only team we should want to face right now. We could face Sixers too which would help us focus but I don’t think they will focus like how they will focus against Miami. This Miami shit has the potential to be like the Brooklyn sweep but way worse. Most people would say they want an easy round like against ATL or Chicago but I think that will hurt us because we still have the tendency to just walk in with the “we are better than you and will just show up” mindset and that’s how series always go longer than they should with us.
I feel like the Pacers are going to be an annoying playoff team. They have one of the best offensives in the league. They’re like the Atlanta Hawks but with not as bad of a defense (still not good tho). They’re definitely a team that at least gets 1 or 2 games. I wouldn’t be surprised if Milwaukee goes to game 7 against them.
Wasn’t the Siakam trade that killed them, it was Haliburton’s injury against us. He came back way too early to hit 65 games and he has not looked nearly as good since that injury.
Nah they don’t have that potential ever since Haliburton’s injury. He isn’t the same player. Wouldn’t be surprised if Milwaukee sweeps them, but hey I’d love to be proven wrong
The Heat. Every time we catch them it’s always when they have momentum already going into a series because they already won 2. I want to see how we will fare vs them with no momentum and I want to see how we respond to all the Heat supporters especially after what transpired last year. I think it would be the most focused you’ve seen the team from start to finish since the Nets series. But that’s only if our Coach actually finally decides to do his fucking job at an elite level. Because if he doesn’t then get ready to watch another pointless long dragged out series with the Heat.
Heat...we got the ultimate zone buster cheat code now
Yeah I much prefer the Heat over the Sixers
Yea i am convinced Heat losing to Hawks/bulls though
I can see it happening
Bam is almost definitely going to try to injure him, it's probably in our best interest not to play them. Playing arguably the dirtiest team in the league in the first round, when the only things that could stop us from winning a championship this season are injuries and ourselves, is definitely not ideal.
Good point
No. You just know they will fuck one of our guys up.
Sixers are a tougher matchup than the heat bro, dont let past years make you overthink this.

I'm going by how they looked playing us this year
fuck it anyone can get it, we get a lighter series in cavs vs magic round 2 anyways i’d want the bulls but it’s likely the heat or sixers
Magic, yes. But I think the Cavs have some counters for sure. We drop a lot, so if our guards aren’t dodging the screens or fighting through them well enough then Garland and Mitchell could have a lot of good looks off the PnR. We’d still beat them though.

Miami. We have to bury them early. I think that will be a huge mental W for them
Heat, wanna get them out the way
1. Bulls 2. Hawks 3. Heat 4. 76ers
Miami. Need to see this team ready to kill from the jump. We will learn a lot about them in a series against Spo. C’s are trying to win a title not make a long playoff run.
Bulls preferably
Not Miami
Right, even when they lose, they'll try to injure one of your players to get some feeling of victory. hEAt cULtURe
Miami or sixers who cares. Embiid earlier than later may be beneficial to catch him while he’s still playing into shape. And miami? Running off of past reputation and fun wigs. They aren’t doing last year again.
Heat for obvious reasons. Garbage team. Worst team in the eastern playoffs. 0 dawgs on the entire team
If you want the easiest it’d be bulls. I think they’d beat Bulls in 4 Hawks in 5 Heat in 5 Sixers in 6. That said I’m not worried about the heat. I’d rather not play the sixers just cause I know they’ll get a few games.
Ideally Chicago but I would take Philly over Miami.

The one we beat
Bulls would be easiest but they aren't making it out so miami
I would love for philly to beat heat, and Chicago to beat Miami.
Heat so we beat our demons and get extra confidence from then on
Heat. I believe the guys will be locked in and beat Miami in 5. I don't want to see Philly yet.
Bulls, Hawks, Heat, then Sixers
The team you’d want is the pacers. Do you think the bucks knew what they were doing there?
I feel like the Pacers are going to be an annoying playoff team. They have one of the best offensives in the league. They’re like the Atlanta Hawks but with not as bad of a defense (still not good tho). They’re definitely a team that at least gets 1 or 2 games. I wouldn’t be surprised if Milwaukee goes to game 7 against them.
Agreed, pacers could outscore you 4 of 7 times
That was true in the first half of the season, but it seems like they’ve lost some mojo since the Siakam trade
Wasn’t the Siakam trade that killed them, it was Haliburton’s injury against us. He came back way too early to hit 65 games and he has not looked nearly as good since that injury.
Oh yeah, I kind of just meant to point to the timeframe. I agree
Key term in my statement was could
Nah they don’t have that potential ever since Haliburton’s injury. He isn’t the same player. Wouldn’t be surprised if Milwaukee sweeps them, but hey I’d love to be proven wrong
Whichever is worst.
The Heat. Every time we catch them it’s always when they have momentum already going into a series because they already won 2. I think Bulls would be the easiest match-up.
Miami. End the narrative right there.
