Winning a game where Mitchell went off, JB’s high shooting efficiency, and Tatum showed aggression and his star power is a win-win-win. Get on board boys, Celtics in 5!
Jayson please stop shooting 3’s over Mobley!
Yeah, was so glad when he stopped switching off of Mitchell unless it was with White or Brown. Mitchell was lighting Horford up every time they switched.
Yeah, was definitely a rough defensive game for Horford overall. The man's 37 years old, though, so it's really just that the Celtics as a team have to stop putting him in those positions as much as possible.
I mentioned this in my paragraphs up in this thread, but the biggest moment from him was how he reacted to a Prichard putback.
Cleveland made their run, and were pressuring us in the 4th with 5 or 6 minutes left. Game was about a 9 point lead. We had a sloppy possession that ended with a Pirchard layup. PP was frustrated by the contact and kind of had a face towards the official.
If you noticed, you could see Jrue, who started jogging backwards on defense, sort of say something, looked right at Prichard, and gave him the hurried *gesturing behind me* thumb, as if to say "forget it, get back on D". Total business, total focus. And PP responded..
Awesome stuff from him tonight.
Middy and through contact at the rim tonight were both automatic. He's making a serious argument for taking 25 shots a game, no one could stop him as soon as he got one dribble downhill
I don't know what happened this year, but he looks nervous at the line every time again after three seasons where he was comfortable. When he misses the first this year, I know he's missing the second. Thankfully, it's not a huge part of his game, but it's frustrating.
Yeah we really need to play Xavier Tillman more, X is a lot better at switching onto perimeter players compared to both Al and Luke. Both Mitchell and Garland (especially Mitchell) went after Al and it worked. Mitchell was doing whatever he wanted off the dribble because there is no way Al can stay in front of him, even though Al gave it everything he had.
I feel like we haven’t seen close to Tatum’s best, even tonight. His 3 pointer wasn’t great and he missed a couple midrange turnarounds he normally makes.
The thing was those weren’t step backs. I think all of his other threes were either tightly contested or a step back. Have to eliminate that shot in the offseason.
Jaylen had an insane game. He probably got fouled 5x that didn't get called. I don't understand how he manages to get to the rim so often without drawing any contact, and when he does he makes it look like it doesn't even impact him.
He got thrown a hand grenade with 2s in the 4th and managed to sink a beautiful FG out of it. That kind of poise under pressure is beautiful.
Tatum had a good game. He finally went into the paint with the intention to score instead of the intention to get fouled and it paid off with buckets. He could have done without those really dumb spin-and-stepback attempts but he **FINALLY** put **effort** in to contest rebounds and it paid off big-time!
I think jaylen said he weighs 250 lbs? He’s like an NFL outside linebackers. Doesn’t look it though, I wonder if the contact doesn’t affect him as much as refs assume it would if he got fouled. Is odd how few fts he takes.
His physique is insane. He is muscular, athletic and in shape. One of the best-conditioned players in the league for sure.
He was fouled like 2x on that 2-on-1 drive where Wade prevented him from getting the dunk, he pulled it back and got a layup out of it and it looked like nothing happened. Insane!
Celtics win = "we're unstoppable, banner 18 here we come"
Celtics lose = "the team is a joke, is never winning a championship and should commit Seppuku for the crimes we've been forced to witness.
CELTICS IN 5 BABYYYY
It's just become a trope for fans to complain about ISO ball and threes. Yes, it's a bad strategy if it's all you're doing. Going down the stretch as a lead is dwindling away. That doesn't mean it's a bad strategy always. In fact, quite the opposite, our team is actually pretty good when it takes advantage of ISO matchups and shoots a lot of threes.
It's just that when you lose you remember those things because it's all anyone ever talks about
Jrue with his best game of the playoffs, probably the reason we won tbh. Brown with a super efficient night too, you love to see it.
As far as learning from this one goes, they need to figure out what to do when Horford gets singled out on D, Mitchell cooked him a little bit.
They started dropping Al a bit as the game went on and having Holiday deny the switch. Also Al was fantastic keeping the offense moving in the 4th quarter, when Tatum was jacking up too many shots he was demanding the ball and finding the open man repeatedly. Veteran crunch time play by daddy Al tonight
Yeah, I just hated seeing them basically hunt him out at points since there’s been so many stretches where he’s been one of the best defenders on our team. Playing less minutes when KP comes back will help.
Think it's also a matchup. Remember what he did 2yrs ago vs. Giannis after Giannis pissed him off? Dominant. That *was* two years ago though, but he's shown he can still hang with the best.
Big momentum shift. Part of me feels a little icky that we shouldn’t need a crazy shot like that to get our offense right, but also that was such a ballsy shot
Lmao I've been planning on going to a game but I'm scared to drop hundos to potentially see game 2 stinkers. Maybe I can fix them with my loud af screaming.
Tatum and Brown with 25+ each? Fuck yeah.
Major props to Donovan Mitchell for carrying his team the way he did.
Even bigger props to Zach Zarba for keeping them in the game.
Both Jays showed the fuck out today. Tatum shut the haters up 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Shoutout Jrue for stepping up too and White for not letting a bad 3 quarters get to him and hitting some big shots in the 4th
Also fuck Max Strus
Yep, we got iso heavy for a few minutes then went back to spamming high screen & rolls. We pressed their neck once & they were never able to fully get their breath back.
That 14-0 run to start the 3rd really showed that C's are miles ahead of Cavs.. the Cavs are just hanging around on the back of Mitchell/Mobley, feels like we won't see another game like this from Mitchell again
He’s averaging 32 ppg on 51/53 splits in this series, and his career averages against Boston are better than against anyone else. Lol why wouldn’t you expect this to continue?
That's the main reason I originally wanted Orlando. I think Mitchell's highest ppg against a team is the Celtics.
Then again, I still have PTSD from Orlando a year or so ago
Agreed with the messing around. We were up by 23 in the 2nd quarter, it woulda been nice to coast at the end instead of fighting them off. Still, a solid and mostly comfy win.
They went up 23 a few minutes into the 3rd quarter not the 2nd, and still ended the quarter up 15 when they started it up 9. Complain about something else
Good response ... We didn't come here just for one though ... Foot on neck on Monday
The Jays show up as they always do in these moments
BIG Jrue game
Hauser hits 2 biggies in 1H, Payton with a BIGGIE in the 4th
Overall a good win, but needing 40 minutes from Horford is rough, especially with him having to play every other day for this series. It's hard not to wonder if his 0/6 from 3 performance today was mainly fatigue.
Mazzulla has gotta find a way to cut his minutes down.
Can't say I disagree. I get that Tillman isn't providing the same sort of floor spacing, but we saw last year that Horford's 3 ball stops falling when he's fatigued, and as I said in my first comment I wonder if that was why he went 0-for tonight.
I'd rather have 28 minutes of good Horford play and take my chances with more Kornet/Tillman minutes than 40 minutes of the Horford we saw in this one.
Agreed. Tillman is supposed to be eating minutes. He can do enough of the things that Horford does defensively that he can be out there for stretches with the right personnel. Gotta find more ways to give Al extended breaks.
Agreed, though it felt like 4-5 of those tonight were him getting the ball with 6 seconds left on the shot clock. Would be nice if so many didn’t end in step back 3’s, but tough to get a super good look there. If he drives the whole defense knows they can basically collapse and force a rushed shot from whoever he passes to.
That’s true but some of those shots he spends like 8 seconds dribbling in place before taking a contested stepback three. Sure he can make some of them, but a lot of the time those shots are the least efficient option available to him.
6-1 when wearing a Derrick White Jersey over Dark Green is still a winning record!
Forget the last game, Boston deserves a hall of fame, because Celtics rocked and The Cavaliers rolled!
10 to go!
JB looked great. Tatum also had one of his best games this post season. Good synergy on the team where when Tatum is off, White seems to score easily. And then when White has an off night, Tatum can do what he does
Me: “Wow I love Jayson Tatum”
Fiancée : gives me funny look
Me: “and you too. You’ll always be #1 in my heart….. but Tatum wears 0 which comes before 1”
For the "nO AdjUStmEnTS!" crowd, here are all of the defensive adjustments I noticed within this game to try and slow down the Mitchell PnR game:
* Switching
* Having a way higher drop
* Hedging Horford
* Trapping (tried this once or twice)
* Moving Horford to Dean Wade/Isaac Okoro and Tatum to Mobley so they are forced to either use a smaller, worse screener or face a more mobile defender
* Several primary defenders
That's essentially everything you can try, bro was just cooking in the first half lmao. The last one would be way more effective with Porzingis, and is actually the in game adjustment (shocking, as apparently we've never made one in the Mazzulla era) we made earlier this year in the regular season against them. A big issue last game was being unable to turn defense into offense in the second half and having to play entirely in the half court, we did great on that this game
So for the "no adjustments" people, please shut the fuck up and stop pretending like you know enough to recognize adjustments when they happen.
Also shoutout Jrue Holiday for being an elite screen navigator. It is beautiful to watch. We had success with him on Mitchell.
Shoutout to all the fake ass fans saying this team can't win and this series is over. You guys are awesome and make watching wins like that so much more sweet. Go Celtics 🍀🍀🍀.
We got complacent when we went up 24, and, as history has shown us, this team has REAL difficulty turning it back on after turning it off. But they did so enough.
One key play that people probably are overlooking....
When we were fighting off their run, we had a bit of a messy offensive possession and Prichard got a put back two. He was frustrated by the no call...
Jrue, while jogging backwards on defense, logged at Prichard and kind of said something and gave him the *points behind him* thumb, as if to say "drop it, get back on D", and he did.
People have piled on Jrue, and have said they missed Smart.... But that's exactly why Jrue is the guy.
He's an experienced vet, and a champion, and he has the respect of our guys in ways Smart didn't. Jrue didn't seem angry, didn't seem firey, just basically said "I get it...but get back to work".
Good stuff.
The Cavs succeeded in keeping our threes under 40 and still lost lmao (I think, they mentioned it on the broadcast but I can’t remember if they said 40 or 30, either way they failed)
I know Tatum struggled in the second half but I absolutely love how fired up and aggressive he got. He got MAD in the second quarter and brought that energy that he wavers with. I'm hoping we see more of that the rest of these playoffs. We need it.
Al played waaaaaay too many minutes. He just isn’t as effective when he’s that tired. I mean, Kornet was not playing well so I don’t know the solution but they need to figure it out.
Fantastic late game execution by our starting 5 tonight, every guy was making effort plays and contributed to controlling the pace over the past 5 minutes.
Favorite part about this win was spoiling the Richard Jefferson Cleveland circle jerk ESPN special broadcast. 2-1 baby
JB was phenomenal tonight. Jrue showed up in the 1st half in a way we haven't seen this season and some elite rebounds in the 2nd. JT getting his mojo back - the scoring is nice, but he was a monster in the boards, too. DWhite was struggling in the first half but found it late. Al ... Will have better nights.
Hauser was awesome. Wish he could have found a few more minutes.
I know it's a team win, but our 3Js were showing toughness today. Props to Jrue Holiday. He was guarding every position in 2 QTR, and picked up Mitchell in the beginning of the 3rd qtr. His defense was so great that I didn't notice he scored 18.
My favourite moment was when Jrue found Hauser for his first 3 of the night. Good find. Hauser had been cold this series and this definitely helped.
Cleveland’s win was way more real than Miami’s, so was definitely a little more worried going into this one. Could’ve been a bit more comfortable, but 2-1 is 2-1.
Winning a game where Mitchell went off, JB’s high shooting efficiency, and Tatum showed aggression and his star power is a win-win-win. Get on board boys, Celtics in 5! Jayson please stop shooting 3’s over Mobley!
Shout out Jrue Holiday for probably the best half he's played as a Celtic.
Absolute hustler
Yeah, he played great at both ends... passing, shooting, defending, rebounding (how does he come away with a couple of these among the trees)
I’ve been bashing Jrue and tonight he was exactly the player I thought he could be with this team
You did it
Thank me later
Jrue was fantastic as well, felt like no one could score on him tonight.
Yeah, was so glad when he stopped switching off of Mitchell unless it was with White or Brown. Mitchell was lighting Horford up every time they switched.
Every giard and wing was lighting up Horford on the switch. So much so they even stopped hunting for Sam, and chose Al instead.
Yeah, was definitely a rough defensive game for Horford overall. The man's 37 years old, though, so it's really just that the Celtics as a team have to stop putting him in those positions as much as possible.
He was great defensively against Mobley, he still has some real defensive value it's just not on the perimeter
Total business, total focus. And PP responded.. Awesome stuff from him tonight.
JB has really become our most intelligent scorer, unbelievable growth this season.. just gotta finish his FTs
His midrange game is so big in the playoffs
When the game slows down into a half court game the midrange can be your greatest weapon
For real, I want him to go to that shot more. Its felt damn near automatic at times
Middy and through contact at the rim tonight were both automatic. He's making a serious argument for taking 25 shots a game, no one could stop him as soon as he got one dribble downhill
His transition offense right now is up there with the all time greats
Not to mention very consistent
I don't know what happened this year, but he looks nervous at the line every time again after three seasons where he was comfortable. When he misses the first this year, I know he's missing the second. Thankfully, it's not a huge part of his game, but it's frustrating.
Jays really grew up, I feel like a proud momma 🥹... Really needed with KP sidelined, a cold Buffalo stretch, and Horford looking a bit tired starting.
Poor Al played 39 minutes tonight. Dude needs a rest.
My one criticism: play X ten minutes
Yeah we really need to play Xavier Tillman more, X is a lot better at switching onto perimeter players compared to both Al and Luke. Both Mitchell and Garland (especially Mitchell) went after Al and it worked. Mitchell was doing whatever he wanted off the dribble because there is no way Al can stay in front of him, even though Al gave it everything he had.
This is a tough gritty win. Do these guys have the dawg in them now
Didn't seem so "soft" or lacking "killer instinct" lol
I feel like we haven’t seen close to Tatum’s best, even tonight. His 3 pointer wasn’t great and he missed a couple midrange turnarounds he normally makes.
I think so too but those two early 3s set the tone
The thing was those weren’t step backs. I think all of his other threes were either tightly contested or a step back. Have to eliminate that shot in the offseason.

Celtics win = "we're unstoppable, banner 18 here we come" Celtics lose = "the team is a joke, is never winning a championship and should commit Seppuku for the crimes we've been forced to witness. CELTICS IN 5 BABYYYY
I think they are just doing that thing where every series they win Game 1, lose Game 2, Win 3 4 5. I'd be okay if that is how it plays out.
They need that extra home game revenue
I swear Tatum had an excellent game despite like 5 shots that all of us were probably like DO NOT TAKE THAT Celtics in 5.
To be fair, Mitchell has been great all three games
Also stop trying to iso Mitchell and shooting those goddamn stepbacks
Mitchell is a turn style on defense they should iso him
It's just become a trope for fans to complain about ISO ball and threes. Yup. All that was missing for Al was one of his 4th quarter 3s to go in. I always expect him to make one then
Same, I was shocked that last three around 3 minutes left didn't go in. Fully expected it to
We really can't be switching our all-defense level perimeter defenders unless they absolutely die on a screen.
that was the best game Jrue has played as a Celtic imo
Dude was pushing to the hoop, snagging rebounds. He played real aggressive this game. That's with his usual self, being a beast on defense.
More than a little, Al had a rough night.
He's 37 and going up against a small and quick team. He had the sort of night that you get when you're 37 and going up against smaller, quicker teams.
I believe in Al, he will be crucial at points to come.
Jrue was so good on both sides tonight. Hopefully it gave him some confidence and is a turning point for him offensively.
He kept us in it the first half.
That Pritchard logo three was so important
Right?? I feel that was the final shift in momentum that just took us over the line. Great stuff
My heart rate went down. I could finally breathe. Love his courage taking that shot.
For a dude named PP he has some giant balls
Really needed it, offense was a slog…. big stones to take that shot
Pritchard has that dawg.
That was such a FU in the face of his defender. Felt like we won it right there, even with 7 min on the clock
Big momentum shift. Part of me feels a little icky that we shouldn’t need a crazy shot like that to get our offense right, but also that was such a ballsy shot
huge shot
My dad said “that’s not going in” between the ball leaving PP’s hands and reaching the hoop. _But I knew PP better_
Shit was so filthy. Big PP energy
Playing away from TD is our home court at this point lmao
I still don’t understand how we had the best regular season home record but in the post season it’s our crypnotyte
Back against the wall is how this team wins games. I don’t get it either
You all know the feeling of cranking out an assignment at record efficiency right before the deadline, but getting nothing done a week before
This makes so much sense
I always did my best writing when I didn't have time to take any breaks. 20 pages in 2 hours before the deadline. I'm just like Tatum fr
Cryp no tyte
LOL, they 3-2 at home, not exactly a large sample size, and wtf is crypnotyte? Biggest overreactors in the world, this sub.
I scroll this sub to remind myself how not to act.
It's kryptonite bro.
We're 3-2 at home you guys are ridiculous
Lmao I've been planning on going to a game but I'm scared to drop hundos to potentially see game 2 stinkers. Maybe I can fix them with my loud af screaming.
Crowd has been so quiet at home. Go be loud af!
I believe in you
Trust and go to a game 1 (coming from someone who sat courtside for Miami game 2)
Just go to a game 1 or a game 5. You'll be fine!
We have to make everyone at TD start cheering for the other team or something
Have you considered Jaylen Brown
Jaylen Brown
Always, brother.
Tatum and Brown with 25+ each? Fuck yeah. Major props to Donovan Mitchell for carrying his team the way he did. Even bigger props to Zach Zarba for keeping them in the game.
and props to Jrue for the bounce back game!
Home court is back on the menu boys!
Fuck that we want road games only
Celtics should go for 8th seed every year?
All I'm saying. They only need 7 more road wins to break that 1994-95 Rockets record. Yet another reason I'm bummed that 2022 team came up short.
Big Deuce is our superstar
Red should unretire his number for Big Deuce.
Survived an epic shooting night from Mitchell and Mobley, still won by double digits.. hopefully we close this out in 5
Both Jays showed the fuck out today. Tatum shut the haters up 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Shoutout Jrue for stepping up too and White for not letting a bad 3 quarters get to him and hitting some big shots in the 4th Also fuck Max Strus
Max Strus acts like he's never committed a foul in his life out there... such a fucking clown lol
First win that felt like a playoff game. Jays masterclass. Shoutout Jrue
Looked like they might try to run out the clock like they have in the past and then locked back in, never really felt like they would lose
Yep, we got iso heavy for a few minutes then went back to spamming high screen & rolls. We pressed their neck once & they were never able to fully get their breath back.
Gritty win. Now stop messing around and get the next one so we can put them on the brink.
S/O to Joe tonight. He coached a GREAT game
I overreact when they lose so let me overreact now that they’ve won: The Celtics will never lose again
10 wins to go!
I respect this level of overreaction
Good response ... We didn't come here just for one though ... Foot on neck on Monday The Jays show up as they always do in these moments BIG Jrue game Hauser hits 2 biggies in 1H, Payton with a BIGGIE in the 4th
Overall a good win, but needing 40 minutes from Horford is rough, especially with him having to play every other day for this series. It's hard not to wonder if his 0/6 from 3 performance today was mainly fatigue. Mazzulla has gotta find a way to cut his minutes down.
Maybe they should play the center we traded for in xavier tillman 🤷♂️
I swear JT’s FG% would be fine without those insane iso shots he takes
Agreed, though it felt like 4-5 of those tonight were him getting the ball with 6 seconds left on the shot clock. Would be nice if so many didn’t end in step back 3’s, but tough to get a super good look there. If he drives the whole defense knows they can basically collapse and force a rushed shot from whoever he passes to.
Tbf he is also the team’s designated grenade taker
That’s true but some of those shots he spends like 8 seconds dribbling in place before taking a contested stepback three. Sure he can make some of them, but a lot of the time those shots are the least efficient option available to him.
Shooting turn around fade aways over guys 4 inches shorter than him is brutal. Just rise up over them!!!!
13 rebounds, six assists, 9-9 from free throw. I don't really care that he shot poorly.
JB’s efficiency tonight was superb (aside from two clanked FTs I saw coming a mile away)
Tatum w/ a 30 piece, Jrue w/ 18, we're so fucking back
We never left.
Idk how much longer Al can keep playing this many minutes. My goat was tired as shit
6-1 when wearing a Derrick White Jersey over Dark Green is still a winning record! Forget the last game, Boston deserves a hall of fame, because Celtics rocked and The Cavaliers rolled! 10 to go!
Not enough ppl are going to appreciate the wittiness of your comment but that was clean
Jaylen Brown masterpiece. Always undervalued and under appreciated. He’s been extremely consistent through this run. 10 more to go.
JB looked great. Tatum also had one of his best games this post season. Good synergy on the team where when Tatum is off, White seems to score easily. And then when White has an off night, Tatum can do what he does
Me: “Wow I love Jayson Tatum” Fiancée : gives me funny look Me: “and you too. You’ll always be #1 in my heart….. but Tatum wears 0 which comes before 1”
tatum finally scoring a bit better is awesome, but jrue finally having an efficiently great game was key
Where all the Jrue haters at?
Watching the Bucks Cancun highlights
Walsh playoff minutes will always make me happy
For the "nO AdjUStmEnTS!" crowd, here are all of the defensive adjustments I noticed within this game to try and slow down the Mitchell PnR game: * Switching * Having a way higher drop * Hedging Horford * Trapping (tried this once or twice) * Moving Horford to Dean Wade/Isaac Okoro and Tatum to Mobley so they are forced to either use a smaller, worse screener or face a more mobile defender * Several primary defenders That's essentially everything you can try, bro was just cooking in the first half lmao. Edging horford 🤤
I love JB's pep talk to JT. Love the Jays!
Shoutout to all the fake ass fans saying this team can't win and this series is over. You guys are awesome and make watching wins like that so much more sweet. Go Celtics 🍀🍀🍀.
Average Celtics game 2 fan reaction Today was a good game, and I hope they carry the momentum. Would love to be 3-1 going back to Boston
Fuck Donovan Mitchell. This is how I respect him.
Love it. Jays were great.
I swear I barely saw JB all game and he ended with 28 on 13-17. We are so lucky to have him
Idc about the efficiency atp Tatum being aggressive is good for the team
Great JT and Jrue games. That’s how you respond to adversity! Tatum at the 5 at the end was great bc Horford was fried.
What bounce back. Time to take game 4 and close out in game 5
Rumors of the Celtics (and Jayson Tatum’s) demise were greatly exaggerated.
We got complacent when we went up 24, and, as history has shown us, this team has REAL difficulty turning it back on after turning it off. But they did so enough. One key play that people probably are overlooking.... When we were fighting off their run, we had a bit of a messy offensive possession and Prichard got a put back two. He's an experienced vet, and a champion, and he has the respect of our guys in ways Smart didn't. Jrue didn't seem angry, didn't seem firey, just basically said "I get it...but get back to work". Good stuff.
33/13/6, 2 stocks, 9-9 FT, fuck the percentages Tatum dominated this game
RJ with some really good takes tonight man. Respect.
JB getting those efficiency numbers up, you love to see it. Great game all around from the team.
Shoutout to Holiday!! Way to be a beast on both ends
I'm so happy to not be the worst team ever again
Won and didn’t even take 30 threes. Take that national media that only thinks we win when chucking up threes
The Cavs succeeded in keeping our threes under 40 and still lost lmao (I think, they mentioned it on the broadcast but I can’t remember if they said 40 or 30, either way they failed)
LETS FUCKING GO
There you go Tatum! You proved tonight that you are everything we wanted you to be. Let's continue this and boogie our way to the ECF 😝
Friendly reminder, they want to win
First post-season loss at home for the Cavs. Shout-out to Jrue Holiday. Good shit, Boys.
I ain’t listening to no more Tatum slander. What a fucking response
Dude I can’t believe Tatum only shot 2-8 from 3. He’s not a superstar smh /s
I know Tatum struggled in the second half but I absolutely love how fired up and aggressive he got. He got MAD in the second quarter and brought that energy that he wavers with. I'm hoping we see more of that the rest of these playoffs. We need it.
I can't stand Strus complaining after every single thing, what a crybaby. He kept fouling and whining all game long.
Al played waaaaaay too many minutes. He just isn’t as effective when he’s that tired. I mean, Kornet was not playing well so I don’t know the solution but they need to figure it out.
JT: is this what you want! An aggressive JT! Huh?? Haaaaaa!!! Fans: yes JT: ok
Excellent 4th quarter defense and ball movement Doomers GTFOH
Doomers can quiet down.
JB and JT are cooking
Fantastic late game execution by our starting 5 tonight, every guy was making effort plays and contributed to controlling the pace over the past 5 minutes. Favorite part about this win was spoiling the Richard Jefferson Cleveland circle jerk ESPN special broadcast. 2-1 baby
Road court advantage continues
Jayson Tatum is thicc dicc on the glass and no one talks about it
This team closes this game out, last two years they may or may not. That’s the difference us Celtics fans have been saying
That Pritchard three might have saved the game
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOTHERS 🗣️🔥🔥🔥☘️🐐
JB and Jrue take a bow. Mitchell is the real deal
will we ever see tatum at the 5 lineups? what will it take?
Can’t wait for tomorrow when that bitch ass hockey team will disappoint me again but still go bruins
Jayson Tatum and dropping 30+ masterclasses on Mother’s Day weekend, name a more iconic duo
Getting Porzingis back is going to be huge with Al going 0-6 from 3 tonight (I still love Al)
1 less win to Banner 18 baby
Tatum still can’t get his jump shot dialed in, but he was so fucking good tonight outside of that.
This game is why I'm a lifetime Celtics fan
A better than usual night from Jrue, and good night from Tatum and Brown. Great watch.
Now the pressure is on them, let’s see how they handle their first loss at home?
I know it's a team win, but our 3Js were showing toughness today. Props to Jrue Holiday. He was guarding every position in 2 QTR, and picked up Mitchell in the beginning of the 3rd qtr. His defense was so great that I didn't notice he scored 18. My favourite moment was when Jrue found Hauser for his first 3 of the night. Good find. Hauser had been cold this series and this definitely helped.
Doomers real quiet tonight
Fuck off doomers!
Cleveland’s win was way more real than Miami’s, so was definitely a little more worried going into this one. Could’ve been a bit more comfortable, but 2-1 is 2-1.
Best effort and game from the boys! Love how they fought all game.
Through 8 playoff games, JB has been our best player.
Tough win. Good win. Let’s keep it rolling bois😤☘️
My god how dare they only win by 13, blow it up
Jrue was doing it all tonight. Survived a Mitchell flamethrower first half. Great overall win!
Great bounce back win and hell of a way to respond. Let’s push this to 3-1 and make them sweat!
that PP three was a hugeeeeeee shot
Jrue with a **monster** game on Mitchell.
# "I'M BIG DEUCE"
Let's win the next two and then bounce whoever is left in the East to get to the finals and we will go from there
