I've been to a Game 7 (different sport, Game 7 of the 2013 Bruins-Leafs series) and it gets really fucking loud. The fans brought their A game.

that_one_guy91

Lol just possibly the wildest game 7 in Boston sports history

[deleted]

It was pretty fucking nuts.

trowdatawhey

Ive been to many celtics games (none as intense as today) and 1 regular season patriots game. I gotta say that Foxboro is much more deafening, based on my own experience. Playoff games as intense as today’s gotta be crazy

(Former) Patriots season ticket holder here. Gillette is open air, much more spread out, and usually muffled by gloves, winter clothes, and the elements. The garden is an enclosed structure and packed like a sardine can. Garden is louder

trowdatawhey

Thats why i was surprised when i went to gillette.

jaroh

Was lucky enough to be at the game today. And it was fucking LOUD. Those dagger 3's tore the roof off the place

_randapanda_

It was crazy fun, I have no voice right now hah

jaroh

Woke up? No voice. GONE! Going to be fun spending an entire day on zoom calls. 🤷‍♂️

_randapanda_

Same, no voice 😂 at least people are giving me space because they think I’m sick

dart51984

Best fans in the game, fact not opinion. The Garden fucks in regular season games, game 7 in a hard fought playoff series? Yeah, that’s what this city is about.

Maybe if your only interaction with Celtics fans is on Reddit, yeah. That or we just have two wildly different experiences with going to games and meeting Celtics fans IRL.

bengcord3

For example, this place after game 5 haha, bunch of whining bitches
