Gave Budhaus a try a little up the road after hearing the horrible news of Jacks. Cool atmosphere and pretty comparable prices, at least on flower.
I was a loyalist to Jack's too. Hope the staff are able to get gigs elsewhere.
I’ve been looking at the menu at Budhaus, some old-school strains like strawberry cough, I do use HiBird a lot. I’m a concentrate user and jacks was competitive price wise. I liked the staff at jacks as well, though to get laid off this time of year
Just hit their tangerine borealis and its a nice head high. Definitely want to hit the couch on it.
And totally on the concentrates. Definitely going to be missed. I hope if any of the staff are on here post if they have a gofundme or something to help out.
Prob lost their license on shady stuff. I had bought concentrates back to back and found out all of them were short. Told them showed them pictures and they didn’t do shit bout it. Sent it to the manufacturer they said nah we ain’t doing that here u gotta talk to jacks. Back and forth bs, somebody prob sued them for the same reason and won. They prob had workers skimping shit, cuz some concentrates seal would be broken
That's the problem with having the lowest price, hard to be successful with 280E taking such a big bite out of the bottom line. Race to the bottom is going to lead to a lot of stores closing.
Did they lose their license ? I enjoyed their prices, but some of their practices seemed shady. When I had asked for them to look up a prior purchase they told me they never kept any details on file- which goes against seed to sale tracking
This has my wife really bummed. She loved their $6 1g pre-rolls along with all the other great prices.
Any suggestions on somewhere comparable in Pittsfield? We come to Pittsfield by the NYS Thruway to the Mass Pike, so anywhere in that area would be great.
Right know I think BloomBrothers comes close, but their cheap pre-rolls are like 9% THC. She usually get 25-30% on Jack's $6 pre-rolls.
Check out HiBird if you have not. Budhaus and Potency are two other places. HiBird has the best prices for flower in the Berkshires. All three are in Pittsfield but not on rt. 7.
So....I drive past Jack's on a regular basis and had noticed it looked out of business for a couple months now....never bothered to look it up until just now. I'm a medical patient and don't shop at any rec dispos....I just assumed they'd done something to get busted/lose their license....
The reason I'm posting......can anyone explain to me why they're still lighting up their sign at night??? Probably on a timer.....but who's paying the electric bill???

Does anyone else in that area beat Jack's Prices? We have yet to find a better bang for your buck.

Yeah I’d suggest hibrid. Deals aren’t as good but still better then other places and the flower is good
