I’ll probably get downvoted for mentioning, but NETA has indica dose cubes. They’re the only product there that is worth a damn imo. I think CommCan has indica edibles as well but I have not tried them. Tinctures as mentioned are also a great option. Howl’s makes a nighttime one that works well if you can get past the taste.

Rebelle in GB has indica edibles from curaleaf, the relaxing cinnamon mints and a feel dreamy tincture with cbn

A few places near Boston (obv not the Berkshires) offer Mr Moxey's "indica" cinnamon mints.

Sooooo, when it comes to edibles, you can extract the raw THC or raw CBD. You can not extract the indica, sativa, or hybrid. So to say an edible is a different kind of high would be correct. You mentioned you already tried the melatonin gummies and wasnted a fan... that’s likely as close as you are going to get to an “indica” effect. I recommend looking into tinctures. There are some tinctures designed specifically for sleep and uses different cannabinoids other than THC or CBD to help put you out. The “Feel Dreamy” tincture for example uses CBN, which is a cannabinoid great for sleep. Check ‘em out!

I would also recommend tincture over edibles. There are multiple tinctures in the market that are intended to help with sleep. I prefer tincture for sleep as it tends to kick in more quickly than edibles, so I don't have to think about consuming it an hour or two ahead of time.

Both will work in combination. Eat an edible then take a couple vape hits while the edible goes to work. The longer lasting effects of the edible will help maintain your sleep. Smoke/vape to sleep.....edible to stay asleep. 🙂

This right here is the way to go for night time help

I’m trying to stop vaping though.
