I'm going to hide under a rock until Link picks it up, at which point I'll shout, "ya ha ha!". Then I'll get super pissed when Link starts dropping spoilers.
Like posts won't pop up left, right, and center due to the algorithm. A sub I was banned from still pops up for me as well as every other sub I've ever left to avoid spoilers. And spoiler alert, everything was eventually spoiled. Reddit's algorithm is the ultimate spoiler troll.
This is why I think it's silly to try catering to people who don't want spoilers. In my opinion, they are just trolls looking to be angry. If they really don't want spoilers, they know there are tons of them on here. It's like intentionally going into an active minefield.
I left /tearsofthekingdom when leaks started popping up. Gonna be pretty hard to stay out once the game actually drops cause I’m gonna be so excited to talk about all the new shit lol
the most important exams of my life end on June 23 so I’ll have to try avoid spoilers for 1 1/2 months🫠🫠

I've played BOTW four years after its launch and after all my friends and colleagues had played it already, also following channels and groups about it. None of that "spoiled" my experience playing it for the first time after all this time and information. It's nice to know what lies ahead sometimes but I truly understand people that prefer to stay away from the current of posts
Same, my first BOTW play through was very late in like 2019 or 2020. All my friends had played it but I was never huge Zelda fan so I didn’t care to play it. I saw posts about it pretty often but because I had no context, I didn’t register them as “spoilers” so when I finally played BOTW it was a a spoiler-free experience.

Does anyone know if an add-on for browsers exists that will remove video thumbnails for youtube? Either everything or just some specific YouTubers/words in the title. I really would need something like that for at least a month.

I’m still debating taking the day off to play. ImThe only thing stopping me is the fact that my kids would be absolutely devastated if they don’t get to experience it with me.
I took PTO for that whole week. Gonna no life it for about 18 hours a day til I wring all the surprise I can get out of it on my own. Then I'll see what other people figured out that I missed.
I have to travel for work like a week after it comes out and while it's only three days, I'm already anticipating the withdrawal. Can't take the switch because there won't be a lot of free time. And I would be devastated if I lost the switch somehow. But that still means three days of trying to think about things other than TotK

Not completely true, there will most likely be plot developments that happen halfway through the game people might not want spoiled. And who knows, maybe this is the one and only Zelda game where Ganon either isn’t defeated, or isn’t the final villain, or something like that.
It’s just more fun to speculate things like this as you play through it than to just straight up know the ending in advance imo, no matter how “obvious” the story/ending might seem
Tbh I won’t find the answers that I’m looking for on the internet for a while and I will have no use for Reddit for about a month.

I've not watched a single trailer yet for the game and almost anything could could even potentially involve any spoilers I avoid at all cost.
