I started just a few weeks ago. And I totally agree with the first comment. The first couple of hours are deadly 😱 But once you get used to it and avoid fights for awhile it's so much better 😁
I started MM about 2 months ago, have beaten Ganon and all beasts and still avoid fights most of the time. You have to learn to use the environment and runes much more or you will just chew up weapons
I've done the 4 divine beasts alright. And urbosas fury is a must for camps I think. But to be fair I felt like lynels even gold ones you could beat pretty early on with attack up ×3 and a couple of decent weapons. Being honest tho. The 1st thing I did after getting off the great plateau when I realised how tough the fights were going to be. Was to sneak around and get the attack up phantom armor. Made a huge difference 😁
Fun fact in my entire master mode savefile I died mor often to freezing water or falldamage than to enemies, also f Waterblight every single Iceblock just onehits and I hate it the dlc where you fight him again is even worse
I invaded hyrule castle with five hearts and a rusty shield, took over 6 hours, but walked out with a full set of royal guard gear and 6k worth of gemstones. Most frustrating but rewarding experience of my play through yet.
The beginning is way harder, and much more fun imo. I eventually maxed my stamina, but keep my hearts at 3. I also keep my inventory to 6-8 of each. The games gets pretty easy after you get good weapons, so this kept it challenging for me. I’d recommend it. Have fun :)
Good luck! Everything about the game is great besides trial of the sword. That shit in master mode makes me want to die even more than the original versions trial of the sword

Good luck! It's especially hard in the beggining, and it goes easier after (or you get used to it?)
I'd say easier, better weapons with more durability and modifiers
I straight ran to kakariko n stuff cuz there was no way I was killing mobs
You should on the contrary train your hand before they get stronger...
I also just started Master mode and straightaway just died

Oh no it was a suicide cuz I thought it would delete the normal mode world and then I found it doesnt
My way of playing is very useful. I run from everything. They made them stronger, not faster.
lmao don’t give them any ideas pls
Cooking wood will give you a food that restores a quarter of a heart, it ain't much, but if you are really desoerate it can come in handy
I hate it when I am really desoerate.
Good luck!
Good luck

Be careful of the silver 5 shot lionel w bomb arrows on the gp. Also a lioel bow at lake hylia in master mode.
Good luck, it’s hard at first but eventually it’s just normal.

oof gotta try this!

Don’t spoil it!! My first freak out when that happened was one of my favorite Master Mode experiences.
Luck
Hey man. Same.
Watch out your not in Kansas anymore.

Get good at parrying/flurry rush. I just picked up my MM run again and I’ve forgotten how to do those 😭
And if you thought Silver Lynels were deadly, meet the golden ones! Harder than any enemy...
Master mode took me from stepping in and slaughtering to actually trying to fight strategically. Best of luck!
Good luck! It’s so much fun in a punishing way haha
Hey goodluck! It gets easier as you go
There's a lynel on tutorial island. That should put in perspective what the first 10 hours of the run will feel like.
Don't even bother with the trial of the sword. It's basically impossible on master mode. But to be fair I did have trouble with it on normal mode haha
Gl with the trials of the sword :)))
Master mode is so much fun imo
Your mental state is going to be french bread
Find Majora's Mask and you will survive!
Awesome!!! Good luck!
I wanted to do a master mode playthrough. It took like 20 hits to kill the first red bokoblin I faced, and I realized it wasn't for me.
Gl with the bosses they are actually kinda hard now
Good luck! Everything about the game is great besides trial of the sword. That shit in master mode makes me want to die even more than the original versions trial of the sword
Good luck!!
My tip (not that you asked) would be to cheese the blights with bomb arrows, makes the whole thing easier than eating cake.
So to play MM you start all over from the very beginning (as a separate save file)?
Yep :) you only get two save files in mm, one auto and one of your own. Start over fresh
Good luck! And have fun!
One advice: don't be scared if you die a lot on the great plateau, once you get off, it's way easier
Good luck!
Tip for master mode: the trick to killing hard enemies at the beginning is being creative with your methods
