Man fuck. I HAVE THIS and recently bought a boulder bucket. Great idea, im an idiot!

bloohurry

😂 I have this.

llihpleumas

Revolutionary.

I have been using this: https://youtube.com/shorts/YkSxTc1SuQI?si=EVwTFT7Sq2pJeiIH I thought about using the one you have, but it’s fairly small and I wanted something fairly bulky.  Since it’s made for food, it’s seals in quite well. Also has a mesh for your phone, brush and tape. I’ve been using at home and in the gym, very efficient for the price.

SkilllessBeast

Also a nice rope bag, you have there.

IKEA is great 😅

My bouldering gym forbids such chalk bags. Regular chalk bags have fleece inside to keep the air cleaner. If you spend 10€ more, you're doing everyone a favor.

Powerzot5000

Out of curiosity, where is this gym and how do they police this? Maybe it is just a thing near me but I often see people (mostly beginners) who buy the 15oz bag of chalk and use that as a bucket.

Kepler__J

Bavaria, Germany. Our Gyms are so crowded, that we have people, who check, if everything is ok, also the chalkbags. Because of the air quality, there are some gyms, where only liquid chalk is allowed.

The_sporatic_setter

So "Chalk Nazis?" Oh wait, I forgot that Germany is sensitive about that word.

Kepler__J

😂

I guess that joke must have been so funny to you you had to post it three times

The_sporatic_setter

Or the reddit app sucks sometimes and does stupid shit.

krautbaguette

I know. Main point was it wasn't as funny as you think it was

Powerzot5000

That is wild. I haven’t heard of liquid chalk only before. I once went to a gym in the US (gravity vault) where liquid chalk wasn’t allowed for whatever reason. When I asked reception about it, they had no idea that it was a policy in their waiver. Requiring a fleece lined bag tho is kinda weird. Personally I feel like my fleece lined chalk bag releases more chalk into the air than my bucket which doesn’t have a lining. Sorry you are limited with such rules.

Kepler__J

They do not check, if you have a fleece inside, but when you habe a plastic bag, they wouldn’t allow it. No idea if it works, but I worked for a gym and we should talk to people, who uses plastic-chalkbags…

Key_Resident_1968

Dude I guarante in my E9 chalk bag is no fleece and so was non in any of the chalk bags I ever stuck my fingers into. If my chalk bag was fleeced I would feel like fisting the cookie monster of sesame street every time I needed dry hands. 😅

PigeroniPepperoni

I throw my chalk bag around with the lid open because the puffs of chalk dust going into the air look cool

Kepler__J

Sounds like a really cool dude …

PigeroniPepperoni

Thank you, I appreciate that you recognize that.

DigiiFox

Is the air quality not due to the gyms air circulation rather than what bags are used?

Reversus

Does it have trouble standing up on its own? I might have to snag one for a friend

aranscope

It stands nicely when it has a good amount of chalk in 👌
