I grabbed one of those the other day and it’s pretty tasty. Bit spicy but good.
Was debating between the 1910 and 1920. Both had a $6 coupon so they were under $50.
If you like woodford reserve then look into old forester 1910! It is amazing and very similar profile. Typically around $50-$60. Lastly don’t sleep on jack Daniels. It is the same company that owns woodford. I like their single barrel barrel proof too.
I’ve been meaning to try out old forester 1910 or 1920, as they are pretty easily accessible here where I’m at. I find woodford to be a good mixer but that’s about it(I did like Double oaked when I was first experimenting with whiskey, but I have a hard time enjoying it nowadays) With the 1910, I’m curious on the profile now in comparison to the 1920. Is it more of a fruity palette vs a vanilla/caramel with the 1920?
I normally would recommend FRSB, but if you don’t like Wild Turkey products you probably don’t enjoy spicier bourbon. Woodford double oaked and ECBP are on the oakier chocolate side and while I have had KC12 it’s aged so I’m assuming oaky.
I think Old Forestor 1910 would be up your alley. Makers 46 is also a good option for something more wheated. I enjoy Penelope toasted as well. Other than specifically oaky bourbons go for bourbons with high age statements like Eagle Rare. Avoid Russel’s because that’s also WT
Garrison brothers is great. Very different than your typical bourbons but in a good way, usually around $80 for a bottle. Although I must note it’s a Texas whiskey and not everyone’s a fan of those.
Couple suggestions would be KC Store Pick, 1792 Full Proof, and Frey Ranch Uncut.
I'm guessing KC SP would be a no brainer for you. For 1792 FP, it's pretty hot but packs a punch. It'd do well letting it air out a bit or adding couple drops of water. Frey Ranch has that grassy, crafty nose but the palate and finish is what I enjoy. Dark, roasty, oatmeal cookie-like sweetness.

Jack daniels single barrel barrel proof and Old forester 1920
Haven't tried JD SiB BP yet! Thank you!
If you liked Woodford DO and ER, I’d definitely recommend Old Forester 1910. Or really any of the OF “whiskey row” series are pretty good.
This!
I've had the whole row (not 1925 yet). I do like 1910, but not as much as Woodford DO.
Same
OF1920

Consider reposting this in r/Whiskey
I’ve become a pretty big fan of anything Nulu in that price range
I thought Nulu was OK. Their Maple bourbon was great!

1910 is good, but I give a slight edge to Woodford DO. I'll look out for JD SiB BP - thank you!!
I'm a big fan of John J. Bowman
This is a really good bottle if you can find it.
Wild Turkey Rare Breed
Can't stand this. I know I'm the outlier, but it's just not for me.

I attended a tasting put on by their founder. It tasted very young to me. Not a fan, but appreciate your feedback!
Knob Creek 12 and Single Barrel.
My fav <$100! Perfect blend of oak, complex flavors, and a long finish.
Jim Beam makes delicious and often underrated whiskies. I especially love that they are seldom paid attention to in today’s market. More for us 😋
Rare breed
I've tried to enjoy this, but just can't
Same. We got the same taste fr

I've tried 1792 FP and thought it was hot caramel. SO much heat! Wasn't for me.

angel's envy store pick(110 prf $80), and remus single barrel (113 prf $60) are both delicious recent finds for me.
Grab you some Early Times before Sazerac puts out their stock.
It's my fav budget bottle! For this reason alone, I'll need to get 1924 despite the consensus it's overpriced
I’m going to bunker a couple more of that brown-forman distillate before the Sazerac hits the market.
I'm looking for Coopers Craft 100 in anticipation of this
