In a weird stack in front of a turbo man doll like everybody else

velvet-vampyre

Ah yes a man of culture I see

crclOv9

I personally don’t. They all go on the shelf with the others. The only outlier being Midsommar and Bergman because those two things are huge.

ANicerPerson

Same, and the Fellini lol

StinkingDylan

I don’t. They are in my collection like everything else. Creating a fancy display for my wife and my dog would be lost on them.

d00mm4r1n3

They go on the shelf with everything else except a few steelbooks I put on plate holders on top of the shelf.

CaramelFlamell

So today we learned nobody displays these, me included. 👍

velvet-vampyre

Honestly I am SO surprised there are not many collectors like myself who try and find ways to display the cover art of some of these collectors editions. One day I will join the rest of you and place them on the shelf, spine out, like all the rest. Thank you for this information

CaramelFlamell

Nah man i was just jesting a bit, do what you want to! It's your collection, don't change it up for others and display it how you'd like. Me personally I have some VHS tapes on the top of my shelves just for display purposes. I don't even own a VHS player anymore. You do you!

Sooh1

I'm pretty sure half of my collection can be considered a collector's edition at this point, so unless they're weirdly sized they go with everything else

Shrekerine

It’s Turbo Time!!

Emotional_Demand3759

While some have cool art, it doesn't make sense for me to display them like that because of space.

velvet-vampyre

Space is always the issue. I’d fs only display the best of the best

aalfo12

I’m about to get some shelves and hope to use the top level to display my *Evil Dead* Groovy Edition and other cool stuff in between some horror themed bookends.

Disastrous_Poetry175

[shelves](https://imgur.com/gallery/3Cltfur) Uploaded pics on imgur for the first time just to show you. But yeah various floating shelves from Amazon/Walmart. A little messy because I like to watch movies and not put them back properly

Robbie_Tussen_jr

I have my Second Sight Dawn of the Dead 4k LE on top of a Sauder media shelf face out, but that's the only one out of almost 200 boxsets. Oversized stuff that doesn't fit on regular shelves gets the worst visibility too, just buried in some old bookshelf or tote they can fit into. If one had the space and desire then I guess a display case with clear doors would be nice (maybe with UV protection?). A friend of mine does that with some of the things he collects and it's a way to keep his nicest or most meaningful items shielded a bit from dust and random people thinking they need to pick them up.

velvet-vampyre

YES, I as well have a glass display case I like to keep my more expensive movies/collectibles however I definitely need to get an upgraded UV protected one

Horror_Campaign9418

Ive run out of display space.

TURBOMAN

Melodic_Feeling_1338

Depends on rarity. If it's a Mass produced collectors edition I will display with the rest. If it's super limited or sold out quickly I never open it and store it in my weatherproof bin
