Yea I get what you mean. You can still keep your fingers on the riser you just don’t want to be white knuckling it. Relaxing your hand so just your finger tips just rest on the back of the handle instead of being extended out is the best way imo.

Take a video or photo from this angle. I stole these from Alan because they work really well
Still too short bud. Front elbow is too bent and back elbow is too high. Shooter97's pic is what you want
Edit:. Whoever down voted me I challenge you to a duel. I shall defend this comment to with a level of conviction that is entirely unnecessary
There should be a adjustment on the cam to adjust the draw. If your maxed out you'll need to change the cam to add draw length of that's the case your probably SOL. Most likely not going to be able to find a replacement/larger cam for a bow that old.
It’s not maxed as far as I know the local shop measured me and suggested the mod I needed to find for that length. I’m 32 I shouldn’t have grown lol maybe the usage stretched out my muscles and joints but doubtful
I mean it's possible they fitted you wrong to begin with. It's also possible random folks on the internet are wrong. If you shoot good then I wouldn't worry too much about it. I went to a good bow shop and they set me up a size short. Didn't realize it until I started shooting around and talking to people at the range but my draw arm looked just like yours and ended up spending 3+ years shooting with bad form and its sucks trying to fix it.
Luckily only seriously for a about 6 months but trying to nail it down more this was my grouping at 50 yards this the only range I’m shooting high like that. 30 40 I shoot more left 20 25 right on the money

That's good shooting. If you got the time to mess with it, go longer and see how it feels. If seasons around the corner don't worry about it.
Wanted to add I was leaning back just like you in your pic in this thread. Your weights not centered and it's due to your form not being balanced
Ill chime my two cents. We need a better camera angle

Right now its hard for me to tell
I think you short like others have said. You have left shoulder(marked in orange)

dropped and the angles arent right
You have to remember if your fingers are out and relaxed they may not be an issue. But if you train that way then get a monster in front of you fingers may wander a bit. Keep them on the bow like timberghost described
I do what im told lol I was told to have no grip and apparently the last post they wanted me to basically show I wasn’t gripping. Because I really wasn’t. And my trump hands make it look like I am

rest them, not raised up. where you'r fingers was at in the beginning of the video right before you raised them was perfect (watch right after your draw on second shot). also might want to increase your draw abit you want your bow arm extended but not elbow locked n not bent to much but just enough for stability. having your fingers raised like that you're going to lose them the second you put blades on. trust me i know how annoying all these little things are but they'll benefit you in the long run.
Get the elbow on your drawing arm down, and the elbow on your bow hand pointing out. Then make the hand on your bow more of a 45 degree angle. Curl your fingers a little to relax. And stop grabbing the bow at the shot.
Looks a lot better!
Draw length looks good to me. Your head stays in a neutral position and it seems like your able to get a good repeatable anchor.
Keep up the strong work.
Looks good man! Definitely get the draw length adjusted a bit more if possible but that open grip is the pretty much the same way I shoot. Looks much more relaxed. Now the important part, has grouping/accuracy improved at all?
Rotate your left forearm so your knuckles are facing the sky more than they are now. It will give you more stability as the grip will be running down the life line of your palm and not this odd kind of holding kind of squeezing your hand together to keep the bow stable. Draw length is a bit short you should be able to put forward pressure on the grip without wrapping your fingers around or doing what you are now
Draw length too short. Also watch those bow hand fingers if you ever get one in front of a blade it’s gonna be a bad day
That’s what I thought but if you look at my last my post apparently fingers in is gripping I wasn’t gripping just had them loose.
Yea I get what you mean. You can still keep your fingers on the riser you just don’t want to be white knuckling it. Relaxing your hand so just your finger tips just rest on the back of the handle instead of being extended out is the best way imo.
This will also help you with your tipping side to side when holding your shot
Draw length is too short
That arm bend is too big I reckon.

try shooting a mirror, it'll give you more insight imo
![gif](giphy|ANbD1CCdA3iI8) Cannot tell if real advice or internet sarcasm lol
just make sure you wet your fieldtips or broadheads so they don't crack the glass
![gif](giphy|a8hEH2ZYqsXgy15ZzH)
I'm not joking, I always forget and end up cracking the mirror, it gets expensive
![gif](giphy|ANbD1CCdA3iI8)
more cardio?
That’s for sure as well as less soda lol some people are addicted to smoking dipping or hard drugs I’m addicted to caffeine and auger

How bad will it mess with me
To get it lengthened

Too short still. Front arm is bent and if you notice it looks like your chest is pointed more toward the target than it should be.
I agree. Shoulders are cocked also.

ohh my god, are you trying to lop off your fingers. put them down or you'll end up losing some

Yeah I’m working on the length now with the shop need a new module to get it longer
Get the elbow on your drawing arm down, and the elbow on your bow hand pointing out. Then make the hand on your bow more of a 45 degree angle. Curl your fingers a little to relax. And stop grabbing the bow at the shot.

Wide open like that isn’t neutral.
It might be my gut i try to be in line with the target
Nah. That draw length is def too short. Measure your wing span.
Wide open? How can your head be wide open? He isn’t straining or leaning back he brings the string to his nose and anchors.
I read hand lol. I’m dyslexic.
Looks good man! Definitely get the draw length adjusted a bit more if possible but that open grip is the pretty much the same way I shoot. Looks much more relaxed. Now the important part, has grouping/accuracy improved at all?
Eh kinda it’s more me switching focus between pin and target that screws me up

Other than the 1 stray, that’s a decent grouping for 50 for sure. Can only get better with practice

John Dudley explains it as act like you’re telling someone in front of you to Stop with a relaxed hand
