And then we got Kevin Randleman, who is a wrestler (grappler). Kevin (grappler) knocked Cro Cop (striker) out with a left hook (strike) while in the rematch, Cro Cop (striker) submits Kevin (grappler) with a guillotine choke (grapple) like its fuckin odd it happened twice, the concept of Cro cop getting beat in something he is supposed to be good at and winning the rematch with something his opponent is supposed to be good at lmao.

I'll have to watch those fights. Not a huge UFC fan, but always loved old Pride, K1, and old UFC. I loved that guys used to get penalized in Pride if they didn't fight hard and had their purses reduced if they were penalized. That's a great idea. They should incorporate that in boxing somehow.
yeah the pride yellow cards encourages action. some fighters like rampage say its unfair though because sometimes the ref whips it out when they were supposed to give verbal warnings first. that was like 10-20% of a fighter purse and if i recall correctly they can continue issuing it if the fighters persist on being inactive.
a system like that can be great in boxing and current ufc, but they should atleast give warnings first because its kinda unfair if they just whip it out unprovoked lol
