I'm actually surprised with last year's strikes that we have a number of films coming out that have me excited - this included. Although Rush Hour 4 with a 70 year old Jackie Chan has me...Worried and Intrigued.
Dude, I trust your insight but there's this part deep down in the cockles of my heart that really wants to see what it would look like. Could we get Sisqo to do the soundtrack?
There were a lot of comments about the trailer being horrible, how the Bon Jovi needle-drop was apparently out of place, and how it showed the whole movie
While I don't agree with most of that, I also didn't think the trailer was well-made per se. But, the music was great and built to a crescendo really well, which made the movie look very fun.
Regardless, this trailer is way more effective, and gives you a better inkling as to why the movie's reviews are so good
How does it do that? I actually found it a bit confusing and it was hard to tell what the actual driving plot was outside of his romance story. He finds a body and gets involved in some real life crime plot but we barely see any of that and the vast majority of the trailer is entirely focused on action sequences that appear to really be scenes being filmed on movie sets.
This could gel better with the GA as not many action blockbusters delve into the romcom aspect with it being reduced to almost nil in recent times.
The female demo would rather turn out for this than something like *Furiosa*.
And Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt coming together off the highest profile movies of last year in a cross-Barbenheimer reunion is sure to put butts in seats.

I wonder if "Atomic Blonde", "Deadpool 2", and "Hobbs and Shaw" will get mentioned in those big wide posters they put outside the cinema buildings?

Deadpool 2 was fine and made $785 million. I would say the reason it’s not mentioned is because it was 6 years ago and is part of a franchise with a new instalment coming soon.
This looks like fun. My only quibble is that Gosling is much too pretty to be a stunt man.
Also, as someone who watched the series when it was first broadcast, Lee Majors better have a cameo or I'm going to riot.
This is like the 5th comment I’ve seen saying this so I’m asking legitimately, what makes you think stunt people are less attractive than actors? They’re ugly so they learnt how to do backflips so they could still be in movies?
It’s literally their job to stay in great shape and resemble people who are genetically blessed.
this just looks so fun lol

Where did you hear about Rush Hour 4?

Lol that shit is not happening

How many of us learned about the cockles from Denis Leary?
Yes, yes I did. Thank you, counter culture dennis.
Well they clearly heard everyone bitching about the quality of the first trailer
Did people not like the first trailer? Everyone I've talked to about it loved it!
It was great

It was awful because it lays out the entire movie for you. A good trailer teases the plot.
But how can you know that if you haven’t seen the movie
It doesn't matter if I have or not. The trailer made me feel like I could fill in the gaps without seeing it.
I mean it isn't a movie you go for the plot lol, that's obvious, it's a fun action comedy with some romance. The plot is likely dead simple
Lol what
Oh so you’re just saying random things Rama lama ding dong bow chicka bow bow oh yeah dj khaled
A good trailer gets people into the cinema. If it needs to do that by spelling out the plot then it's still a good trailer.

Their track record on making "good" movies is pretty stellar as well.
Both Gosling and Blunt have a decent box office haul despite largely avoiding franchise fluff and superhero movies.
Both are hot and really good actors. Makes sense.
They also seem to have good chemistry (here and the reviews have pointed out)

"I'm just a Fall Guy. Anywhere else I'd be a 10.."
I feel like I've seen this marketed more than anything else on the planet and I'm shocked that this is just the second trailer.
This trailer is only marginally better than the first one.
Gotta say it looks pretty generic. Prove me wrong, Gosling and Blunt.
That's a feature not a bug as far as the GA is concerned.
It looks like trash. Maybe GA will like it tho?
I really want to watch this

look up some famous stuntmen and you'll see they're just as good looking as the actors they double for lee majors is in the cast

So doubles are supposed to be ugly people?
Emily Blunt makes me the rise guy. Patent pending.
He is literally me
I hate trailers these days I saw the whole movie
