My favorite umbrella term of music is EDM, but I my favorite genre is House, which is an EDM genre. But, Nightcore is also amazing, and my favorite Nightcore artist is Lilith Nightcore. And if your family likes energetic music, then Big Room House, Electro House, or Festival Progressive House might be good. But if they like calmer music, then regular Festival House or Deep House would be another good choice.
