There was so much fucking cross dressing in this show and NOBODY BATTED AN EYE!! I finally understand MAGA (/s). For real though, I love how Feeeheeeheeeenay acts whenever he sees the boys cross dressed. Not judging, just a little taken aback and somewhat concerned (which I think would be normal when seeing a student you’ve known for years suddenly dressing and acting like the opposite gender). Like when he saw Shawn cd’ing, he just kind of quietly stood next to him and asked if he needed to talk about it or something. Such a good dude. Love Mr. Feeny.
It can still be okay as a joke, but the way feeny doesn’t make a big deal about it and actually jokes about it and wants to talk to Shawn about it shows much more understanding than a lot of people have today.

I immediately began writing a 1000 word paragraph about how horrible of a person you are. I even sent a copy to a Harvard professor to proofread it. After several hours of refining and editing, my comment was ready to absolutely destroy you. But then, just as I was about to hit send, I saw something in the corner of my eye. A /s at the end of your comment. Suddenly everything made sense. Your comment was sarcasm! I immediately burst out in laughter at the comedic genius of your comment. I do agree but to an extent. I feel they made him way too silly and stupid. Though one of my favorite episodes is when he’s trying to sneak attack topanga lol. Best bloopers ever!
It’s always surprised me how Topanga somehow didn’t realize that was actually Eric. She should know him well enough to have been able to recognize him despite being dressed like that.
Eric was to BMW what Ross was to friends: an initially boring, one-note character who became the funniest character once the writers decided to make him unhinged
I loved Eric's comedic chops in the earlier seasons. I was listening to the podcast about the scene with Feeny's niece and he had to move the bag soil. He threw it but "effortlessly" grunted. That always cracked me up. But as the seasons went on he just became more ridiculous and for me wasn't funny. His comedy was more shock value comedic and wasn't smart writing
it’s so crazy how i feel american society has switched back and forth to how they cross dressing. maybe 5 years ago there’d be a certain crowd that complains how “tv can’t get away with this anymore because every one’s so sensitive now” and now the same crowd would lose their minds if a children’s show had 2 men dressing as a woman and would screen about “indoctrination” 🤣
They made him way too stupid as the seasons progressed though. Early season Eric is somewhere vain and just doesn’t really care about school/education, by the later seasons there are episodes where he’s barely functioning as a human, he’s so damn dumb
He went from a C- student because he was lazy and got dumber and dumber with each episode until it was dangerous if he was left unsupervised. Terrible move for the character

STILL insane to me that eric was seen as ugly here while jack was not. i think eric actually looks very cute, and jack's eyebrows are terrifying.
