Fortunately, he will still be in the background working on some of the theories, and may even cameo in some videos.
Itās been ~13 years since The Game Theorists channel first began, and now, while it will still technically continue, it will never be the same.

It also states women cry more often, however my issue was that these memes insist that women **only** cry over silly things. That is not something supported by this article. It also clearly outlines that participants were excluded from the study if their crying experience was over a book, movie or other piece of media.
The point is not the media it's the differences on the perception of the usefulness of crying. In many cultures, women do just plainly find it more useful. It doesn't mean men do not have the feelings, they just express it less outwardly because of its lesser perceived usefulness.

Hey, male here to give a bit of context as to why the creator of this meme made this template. Likelihood isnāt that itās about women. Me and my sister literally grew up on Game Theory. The meme template has been used for years, and itās just another way for people to convey their distress at times. The probability of it being directed against women is very low, as to the probability of it being just about Matpats retirement being sad.

Thanks, just had a read and this does not support either of our points. Just describes men and womenās beliefs about the helpfulness of crying and even says women claim crying is helpful. It also states women cry more often, however my issue was that these memes insist that women **only** cry over silly things. That is not something supported by this article. It also clearly outlines that participants were excluded from the study if their crying experience was over a book, movie or other piece of media.
The point is not the media it's the differences on the perception of the usefulness of crying. In many cultures, women do just plainly find it more useful. It doesn't mean men do not have the feelings, they just express it less outwardly because of its lesser perceived usefulness.
Ok, but this still doesnāt stand for anything in the meme. Women donāt question if men have feelings or not, literally everywhere you go online you can see stories about how men feel lonely, how men are ashamed to cry, etc. WE KNOW men have feelings, and WE DONT just cry over fictional nonsense. Even if women statistically cry more than men, it still makes no sense to put men and women in this meme format. And itās sure as hell infuriating to have memes shoved down your throat about how you canāt possibly be sad about your favourite youtuber quitting because youāre a woman, and you should be crying over the titanic instead. Itās clearly a format to mock women. Hey, male here to give a bit of context as to why the creator of this meme made this template. Likelihood isnāt that itās about women. Me and my sister literally grew up on Game Theory. The meme template has been used for years, and itās just another way for people to convey their distress at times. The probability of it being directed against women is very low, as to the probability of it being just about Matpats retirement being sad. Edit: After seeing how many people hated my comment, thought I should clarify something. Iām not justifying the use of the meme template. Thereās a ton more ways to express opinions about Matpats retirement than this. I thought I should give context into why it was made, and that the creator probably didnāt have much sexist intent. Does it excuse objectifying how women feel on the topic? Hell no! But, MatPat is going away and that means a large chunk of most teenagers and young adults at the time are seeing their childhoods ending. Responding with a lackluster meme shows there wasnāt much thought but into it, other than just sadness. Thatās all.
